J-15 Sparrow
The J-15 Sparrow is built of the same frame as its predecessor the J-12 Arrow. the J-15 is a multi-role fighter capable of taking off from aircraft carriers and standard land based runways.
About this creation

The J-15 has 2 small air intakes underneath the wings which suck in air and provide fuel for the engine. The J-15 is considerably slower than the J-12 but it carries more munitions and has a larger combat radius.

wingspan: 42 feet
height: 17 feet
payload: 5200 kg
weight(empty): 8400 kg
maximum speed: 3,500 mph(mach 3)
combat radius: 4000 mph(at cruising speed)
cruising speed: 800 mph
powerplant: MK XXVI hybrid jet engine
armament: 8 hardpoints, 6 20mm cannons
armor: carbon nano-tube armor layers

the J-15 uses an advanced MK XXVI jet engine which recycles most of the fuel it uses which gives the J-15 a very high combat radius for a jet of its size.

the J-15 has 6 nose mounted 20mm cannons for dogfighting missions. although the J-15 can only engage in dogfights at speeds of mach 1.5 and below.
