Shadowships are most prominent example of strong will of Atritian people in space. They are always built by Polaris astronauts that were unlucky enough to get shot down by enemy forces. Thanks to ipmlode core technology Atritian ships dont explode or burn while they are damaged, but they warp away with all crew to closest planet surface. Astronauts then pack all saved technology, supplies and weapons and continue to fight on enemy planet as a partisans. After a period of time, surviving astronauts come back to ships wreck and they repair it with resources that they find on that planet. As they can work by magic with any material, their ships often look like some weird "Frankenstein" ship composed from different ores. Last but not least, i want to give special thanks to JWG, Commander Cold and Benhamin Eukatah who encouraged me to post my plastic works, though I know they are not my finest works at all. Thanks for all , folks :D
About this creation
I had some problem with photography, so not every aspect I wanted to show is clear, but I will try to explain all that is possible. For those who would like to compare my LDD works to this i need to say couple of things. I used every bricks that fitted in my colour scheme, so I is clear that most of my bricks are mega-blocks that are so hated by most people because of their rough apperance. I really tried to arrange them as well as it could be. In fact, It is impossibleto make my works in plastic because of lack of LEGO shops in Slovakia.

General plan of ship. Here is crearly shon that ships is very sleek and idea behind comes from Siaron. Fern-like strucutre with many cross trunks, towers and multiple cockpits are basics of my style. Main trunk and first wings are from airplane set, as well as ends of cockpit. I used them because they are very good for making framework and compining with TECHNIC bricks , because they contain holes for technic pins

Detail of three-level main cockpit. You can see main officers here. Atop is Shogun Taira from Aiunu Dainar (part of Atritian Empire), In middle is Dain Apries from Sainir, who is in fact exiled prince and brother of current king in Sainir. In bottom cockpit sits Ixcouatl, most powerful warlock of Athritis.

Idea note – battle towers : Every cross trunk is equipped with a battle tower atop. It has crennelations on its and end, some laser cannons to target enemy ships and a holder for 4 „laser axes“. A room within tower serves as living and resting room for officers working in lateral cockpits. Some of rooms have aperture in their floor to reach main trunk and reactors within it.

You can see sagital wings attached to each horisontal wing. It helps to maneuverability of ship and also works as shot absorber.

Idea note – deattachable reactor cores. They has the same purpose as implode cores. If ship absorbes too much energy shots, it simply let it fill to implode core. If it is overfilled, it simply deattach from ship, make kamikadze like moivement into most important enemy ship and explodes by releasing its energy. It is one of the most deadly Atritian weapons.

General view on ships front part

Morph note - multiple trunks : Cockpits laterally from main trunk are situated on actual trunks that are parallel with the main one in center. Originally they were deattachable too, but whole design was becoming very fragile, so i attached them firmly. They serve as outposts guarting ships entrance. They also have their own control rooms, cargo rooms and two engines that helps to enhance ships maneuverabilty. In most desperate situations, they can deattach and save some of crew members.

Morph note – cannon towers : Firepower units of this battleship are purposely arranged together, always more types of them on one tower. It is because their target can have more composite structure and since this ship need some cannons to penetrate shields and plating (trans dark green ones), to launch an EMP shockwave (violet ones), tanti-infantry cannons (neon trans green) and most deadly telepathic beams are blue ones.

Deatil of lateral trunk. Sadly you cant see t´frameworks of main wings, they would be destroyed if I tried to expose them.

Posterior aspect. You can see segemtal composition of this ship.

Very posterior aspect. Note rocket engines besides main trunk. Atritians normally dont use rocket engines heavily, because they favor more ellegant ways to power their ships, but this one was built from what can Apries crew find.

A pair of little fighters are attachd to postreme part of ship. They were orignally part of the next ship I am going to post, but they were making it too hard to maneuver, so I docked them there since that.

Idea note - various types of lesser spacecraft : This ship has totally 12 lesser spacecraft to contribute to its versatility in battle. This little thing between framework is drone. It is robotic spacecraft that is able of rapid maneuverabiltity and very strong firepower. It is ideal fo chasing enemis into theie undergroudnd bases, sniping strategic enemy officier without ever seeing main ship.

Idea note – shield emitters. Both trans neon green semi arches on main trunk and black semi archs on corners of towers are meant to absorb enemy energy shots. Orginal Atritian designs and ships are build from special metal composotion that covers surface and profound parts of ships and since that any part of ship can act as shield emitter/shot absorber. Apries had not access to these key resorces so he made this arches to absorb shots.

Idea note – ships main cannons : Those of you who know Starcraft II know what is Protoss Void Ray and in fact this ship was inspired from all Protoss Fleet mebers in WoL. These cannons work as Void Rays – so they shoot harder the longer they are pointing on enemy. I made them on front area to be able to shoot with minimal ship surface exposed.

4th tower detail

3rd tower detail

2nd tower detail – caches before tower are in fact deposit of energy crystals that Atritian use heavily as power source or as computer cores.

1st tower detail

You can see that planet where Atritians crashed was probably settled by Space Police som times ago ...

Idea note – clustered workplace : Those sleek blue cockpit (oh, i love them so much  ) are working rooms for crew members. They are lying there which is more confortable position for working and they use holograms on their windscreens as computers. In emergencysituations, they can teleport right behind them to portable medical facility. It is the part with helicopter windscreen that is situated below every wing with cockpit. It is deattachable and serves as evacuation pod in or out of ship and also as little dropships.

Front detail. I know that estethicaly futristic cockpit and aeroplne nose cannot be combined, but my LEGO possesions are very meager.

Main cockpit with Ixcouatl. He usually wears his feather crown (as Aztecs- similliar nation asre Tenochs, that are one portion of Atritians), but here in spaceship he gave up of his luxury. Note that his stand is in fact a little spaceship that can be deployed from ship

Beside Apries personal cockpit there are another spacecrafts that are used as strikers. I forgot count them and lateral trunks to additional starcrafts, so their final count is not 12, but 16 :D. Note that they are armed with weapons with combined blue and violet noses. This means they combine telopathic strike and EMP shockwave to absolutely confuse enemy ship memebers.

Little dropships deattached. They are 6 in total, 3 on each side. Note that they have they own cannon towers and engines.

Hexagonal holes from concave semi-archs are the very plating of main trunk. I made trunk with alternations of plane-like segments woth arch bricks alternationg with box-like segments amde from 2 platforms joined with those white semi archs. They are whole compressed by technic pins and vertical beams. You can see them on laterals of drones.

You can see main computer core right behind entrance aperture. They are 4 in total, one behind each tower segment. Usually only one works, but those 3 are reservein case of massive blow against ship that would destroy it computers.

Right side medical dropships.

Computer core detail.

Drone attachment slot. Note tehcnic bricks compressing both decks together. Ship would collapse under its own weight if they were not applied.

All four drones deattached.Big arch green bricks serves as mechanic shield, because drone approaches its enemy head on, covering itself behind this shield. Sand-cloured cache contains a crystal that controls drone, round trans neon green bricks are power sorces, and rotable parts are moving engines.

Ship entrance. Note that its ceilling is somewhat deattached because of manipulation with ships wings.

Shield emitter detail.

All lateral cockpits are open now. Energy men have gone to have some rest in tower rooms.

Energy man lying in his „office“. I used my least visually appealing minifigures to be energy men, so better looking ones could join battle outside ship.

Front part detail.

Apries in his chair. He is in fact crown prince in Sainir Atritians, but because of tension within roayl family he becomed exiled. Tough, as a member of royal family and former crown prince he was extremly well educated and so he was successful in every thing he started. Later he amassed many of exulants and formed his own army that wreaked terror in Singauran. He remained loyal to those who exiled him and has later reunited with his family. He earned much respect as cunning general and mercenary captain. Later he become part of cosmic Atritian Fleet, but he was lost in some of earliest battles when Atritan ships were rather primitive. However, he and his crew is still alive and recently he is roaming in space and shooting every Atritian enemy down. He hopes to be lucky one more time and find his family and home fleet again ....

Dont mess with us ... we are Atritians, tough it may be not so obvious ...

Some times between battles crew is resting in this way ....

Escape pod detail ....

Engine details ...

This ship has 8 rocket engines and 6 hovercraft engines, so 14 in total.

This type of engines is rotateable and placed in coronary plane , since this is used as hovercaraft engine plus it can move whole ship to sides. It is a standard in Atritians ships.

the first to fly over the images, you get the impression that everything is very chaotic. Only when we all look closely you recognize the system. Clearly a very interesting style. Hats off.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 wow! I can t believe how intricate this ship is, you achieved your vision in real bricks, bravo!
Thank you, Frank, very much ... it was to my great surprise to see peoples reaction of my ABS models ... I am still sure that they are so much less complex that those in LDD. But I tried my best to build a Siaron-like model even with my very limited LEGO collection.

Quoting Commander Cold I have to apologize. During the next few weeks I am moving to Montana (I live in the United States), and so all of my LEGO is packed up. During this time, though, I'll be very active on MOCpages, so It'll still be a couple of weeks. Once again, sorry.
It will be like Chrismas present to see your Deep Freeze Explorer :D

Quoting Commander Cold Oh. Well, I have to ask you something. Are you able to fluently speak English? I don't want to seem insulting, but there are many points in your comments and descriptions where there are grammar and punctuation errors.....
Hmmm ... I was learning English actively for approximately ten years, but my strongest language skill is still understanding. My errors come from fact that I care much about what I say and its form is my least concern. And maybe because in real life I type a lot and fast. By the way, how is your work on D.F.E. going? And I forgot to say that you and Ben dont need to tell me to look at your creations because I look on them daily and I am getting mails when something is new.

Quoting Alex Sonny Finally, a real creation from you (first one I've seen anyway)! While not as extensive as your LDD builds, it's just your style. And I see your style as a mix of chaos and order, or better, chaos through order. Lots of mirroring and standing out designs make it all look incredibly chaotic yet organised in a way. Awesome!
Thank you, Alex :D you catched an idea of my works :D I In this case, i was trying to arrange my megablock-heavy collection to be as least crude as possible. I have very little ABS pieces, and since i dont like one-man ships at all, I tried this. In LDD, I like to arrange a handfull of motives to some complicated structure, something between ornament and histological picture of some tissue (i am pathologist in real life), because I admire microstructure of living matter :D

Please, don't thank us. It's YOUR AWESOME creations that inspire us to commnet and rate them. You are a great builder with very exclusive skills for making large MOCs. You are one of my absolute FAVORITE builders, and for only knowing your existence for about a month, that's very good. You've "Built" a reputation with us very quickly, and honestly, I've not seen another builder with your shipmaking skills. I'm not even sure I'M level with even up to half of your building skills. I'll get back to this ship and its rating later. Hope I made you feel better.
