My entry to the 1st Round of Caleb's 4x4 contest. Enjoy!
About this creation
I chose the category: "Get out of my way!"

First of all, I had the plans of making my entry related to space and many assorted stuff. The main idea of this creation really fits its category in my opinion.

To add a background story to the entry, here's my version of the apolo's destruction. Let's just say that during her launch, she ran into an alien space craft. The craft still tried to evade the impact with the shuttle, the pilots yelling "Get out of my way!", but it was too late. Probably my favorite and most creative part of this entry is my design of the stars. I've never seen anyone put hands inside a modified brick with the square-shaped hole on the back. I have to say I am really proud of coming up with that design for the stars. Plus I added a moon and the Earth, of course. I think this MOC also fits into the slow- motion category, mainly because of the effect of the fire coming from the shuttle and the effects of the pulse released from the UFO. I also like my design of the vehicles. For a micro-scale, I think they look relatively stellar. But that's just me, let me know what you think in a comment. I'd appreciate it! Enjoy!

Quoting Caleb of Enalica Just so you know, you advanced to round 2! You may already know this from the group, but just in case you did not, I wanted to make sure you had time to build.
Yep, I have posted my entry! Thanks for telling me. I've been very occupied for the last few weeks. Happy judging :D

Quoting David . Unlucky for you I've already done that. Lucky for you I didn't post it, thus I won't make you give credit. :P (I wouldn't anyways, but this makes me feel important or something. ;) ) Nice job! The hands work well for doorbells, too. :)
Interesting, I find this a very good thing. I still can't say I got this from you, but I'm glad we've both managed to come up with the same creative idea, hard to believe you actually made stars this way. Using this technique for anything else is easier, but I believe you. Thanks!

Quoting Gilbert Despathens Happy birthday! It looks like you're a step closer to getting a kidney as your present. I suppose a lot of us had the idea to do microscale spaceships in the "Get Out of My Way" category. Fortunately, I decided on something else, so I'll leave this idea to you and David. Good luck!
Thanks! You too! I want that kidney :P

Quoting Stephen Boe Nice! I really like that micro (1 x 100000...) earth! Also the star design is neat, but the way they are arranged looks too uniform.
Thanks! Yeah, I suppose they do look too uniform, but that's mainly because the bricks in the center with no stars are actually bricks with the technic pin holes, so I could not really make a rather random pattern of stars since I lack the normal 1x1 black bricks by a few. Anyway, thanks for liking it!
