Bugatti Veyron SS
Third version of my Veyron: this one is even faster than the standart one: it's the supersport.
About this creation
I came up few weeks ago with this . Now I improved it and changed some things:
> the colors, and so the design: new front, new (beautiful 8-p) back, new side line. I thinkin orange it is looking even better than in red/black.
> the lenght: it is now longer as asked on my first veyron. But I have the impression that my camera changes the proportion of the car.

For those who didn't saw my first veyron:
Before posting this version, I thought "Lego or not lego, that's the question". The answer was : Lego, and so I finished my Veyron (first looks have been post 2h ago). And now, I can say it, here is my finished 1000horsepower 16 cylinder legend.

A bit history first: The veyron is the best, most powerfull, fastest, with the biggest number of cylinders and the biggest consumption, car in the world. I'm personnaly living in the region where it is made, 20 km near the factory, and last week I was on the highway, and a SS just overtook us. I can say, it is simply a gorgeous car. (I can't find words to describe this)

Mine now:
there are special special features: I designed an engine for this car, the famous w16, but then I saw it was almost as big as the car it self. So no working engine, sorry, but instead I put a spoiler, that has 4 position like the real one: retracted, up, middle up for > 370km/h and air brake. I also fit my car with a steering, but because I haven't any crankshafts, there is no working steering wheel.

On the design: the big work was there: to make the line of the car as fluid as possible, I used the "dino horns". I think it's the best way to recreat the curvature of the car, and so I'm personnaly finding that the front and the back of the car are looking pretty really good. The interior is inspired of the real car, and so I spent a lot of time doing the interior so it will be as realistic as possible. There is also a decorative W16, just to fill out the blank space.

Thanks for watching! I will be very glad if you leave a rating and a comment!
>Is the car good (enough?)?
>Are they some things I can improve?
>And WHAT DO YOU PROPOSE FOR A CAR THAT I CAN BUILD NEXT? (I think a alfa 8c or 4c would be easy with the dino horns...)

PS: "and as I'm always saying little hammond, fine engineering and precision will always be beaten by POWAAA and SPEEEEED"

Quoting Jeremy McCreary So many parts used here in creative ways that never occurred to me -- and may never =have= occurred to me, for that matter. The dino parts certainly fit into the latter category. Excellent work. 5/5

Great shaping on the front, haven't seen such organic part usage for this purpose yet but it sure does a great job capturing the characteristic look of the Veyron, nicely done.

Love the front, the engine is very nice too. Do have to give a little bit of criticism though, the car looks a little too short, which makes it look a little weird from the side. From the back and front it looks perfect though, great mix of Technic and brick. Nice job.

Nb: I had in mind to do the veyron grandsport after this, but after a deconstruction of the back, I just gave up because of the stupendous amount of work there was. I destroyed it, :,-| but I think I will try another one one day...

Quoting Lego Builders Nice technique for the front. But everything else I think kind of went downhill from there. I'd definitely fix the proportions (your wheelbase is on the short side). Still nice though. 3/5 -LB Jr.
Thank you for your comment, but I will repeat it for the hundriest time: it is in a longuer wheelbase than the other one! My camera (ipod) deforms quite a bit the pictures making it looking on the pictures shorter and higher Ps: and I used on this model just legos, no megablocks, sorry :-P
