castle sneak preview
sneak preview of my latest MOC
About this creation

this is a sneak preview of my latest MOC. there are a few bits i need to tidy up, and i will be doing that once i can afford to do one more brick link order! i think this is my best MOC to date without a doubt, in that im using more techniques and also have some landscaping in it!

its only a preview, so like i said i should hopefully have many more pics up when its finished, but if anyone fancies having a wee look and leaving some feedback, please feel free!

nice one cheers man! i do think ive come along quite a bit since my last build, i think its mainly that ive now got enough green and brown plates etc that i can put landscaping and much more details in my build. the slopes weren't exactly cheap, but i shopped around and bought cheap ones over a few orders!! apart from a few more tiles to finish this off i shouldnt have to buy many more parts to do similar sized builds, so im hoping my productivity will increase soon!
Quoting Romany Woodhouse Good Lord! Your creations have really come a long way Chris. It's great to see some landscaping and I like the consistent little details that bring the whole thing together, like the studs under the roof corners and all those tiles. All those steep black corner slopes must have cost you a pretty penny! :)

Great castle! From what I can tell, the details are superb! I love your windows in the castle wall, there add a lot of detail. Your towers are also well done, towering above everything else! I love your tudor design, it looks fantastic, and suites this castle well! I can't wait to see the whole moc, and every little detail! :D

yeah i have got a few angled pieces but this is my first build with any form of landscaping, so my plan for my next build is adding more rock work, angled/curved walls, and more intricate landscaping.
Quoting Gilbert Despathens If you haven't placed that order yet, I recommend adding some curved and angled plates to touch up the landscaped border. This might sound crazy for a castle that is already almost complete, but if you could add an angled batter around the wall bases or at least some rough rockwork along the bottom, it would also help the castle blend with the terrain and pop a bit more.
