Beautiful flowers, great technique. Tough luck on not advancing as it looked like your judges had a close call, but good build nonetheless!

Well, it was an honour competing against you Jackson! I have to admit that when I saw your MOC, I was awed. Your roses look so real and the cape techniques is just brilliant. Once again, it was a real honour competing with you, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a technique with a lot of potential, but I feel that you feel short of using it too it's full extent. A little more arrangements of the capes would have resulted in more realistic designs, and perhaps a few more accessories would have really made this pop. Your opponent gets my vote, but this is a really grand technique which I encourage you to revisit.

Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy Jackson, this is not an easy decision. This was my category and both, you and your opponent, missed some points. You came up with a clever and beautiful rose design technique that I like very much. It would have been nice to bend the outer petals, but I guess your didn't want to ruin the capes. But why just some roses? As pretty as they are, they are not a bouquet. Alas, Mark's entry comes closer to an actual bouquet than your entry, therefore he got my vote. Still you can be proud of your design.
I know its not really a bouqeut of flowers and the reason i only did roses was that i dont think and other bricky looking flowers would fit in with these life like Roses.

Another touch one for a judge to call. I've decided to use naturalism as my dividing tool. Based on the clever petal design and how life like these are, you get my vote.
