My build for the LoM UC: Aftermath Challenge! Enjoy!
About this creation
I had been called upon by a stranger that wear all black. Blaine had told me he came from a new organization from my brethren Outlaws in Bodus. I knew I couldn't turn away a fellow Outlaw, so I agreed to meet with him.
I entered the room, expecting to find some humbly dressed Outlaw, but came to find something else entirely.
???: You have many nice relics of old here, Jaldor of Red Sand. I respect relics. As I do you.
Me: I appreciate the compliment. May I ask who you are?
???: My name is Vergus. But who I am is a mystery to all who are outside of the circle.
Me: Circle? What circle?
He turned his head and gave a small smile.
Vergus: The Black Lotus, of course.
He then turned toward me fully. I couldn't make out his face because 90% of it was covered in black armor and cloth.
Vergus: The Black Lotus is rising, Jaldor. It's intentions are virtually unknown to those who are not a part of it. But I know Jaldor. Would you like to know?
Me: Know what? The intent of a secret organization? What's the catch to this information you offer me.
Vergus: Your town's resources are great, Jaldor. Our efforts could really use them.
Suddenly, I knew his intent, and I became a little angry.
Me: You want our resources? We just suffered a major battle on the shores of Rainos. I can offer you nothing that we don't already need direly here.
Whether he snarled or not I could not tell. He then walked slowly over to the window, looking out over the town of Red Sand.
Vergus: A beautiful town indeed. It would be a shame to watch it crumble because of your arrogance.
I suddenly became very angry with the man, and I was sure to let him know it.
Me: You watch your mouth! Any threats to this town with be eliminated! Starting with you if you wish this town ill!
Vergus turned to me and cold chill filled the air.
Vergus: I don't want to hurt anyone unnecessarily. Be careful that you don't push harm on yourself, Jaldor.
Suddenly, the cold chill grew much colder, and the room darkened.
I tightened the grip on my sword, ready for anything.
Then, the cold air grew warm again, and the room returned to it's normal light.
Vergus: As I said before, our intent is unknown. But if you wish to join us, meet us in Worsan. If not, well...use your imagination.
Then, Vergus turned to leave, and began to walk away. But, I couldn't let him leave thinking I would subdue to his evil will.
Me: The people of Red Sand don't respond well to threats, slime! Keep that in mind as you take your long walk out of my town!
Vergus: Tisk, tisk, tisk. I wouldn't rely on the meager might of Red Sand, Jaldor. The Black Lotus are not Mythronians. We cannot be defeated.
He then continued to the door.
Then, something swelled up inside me, from anger or fear I know not. I lifted my sword...
...and threw it at him.
It missed him by a hair and clattered against the stone wall of the room.
Me: Consider that a warning. Next time, I will not miss. Now be gone!
Vergus snorted angrily.
Vergus: I'll be sure to inform my superiors or your...unfortunate refusal. We will meet again, Jaldor of Red Sand.
Me: And for your sake, you better bring something to defend yourself when you do return.
Just some extra shots of the build.
