it took blood sweat and tears. well, not the latter. blood, 'cos i nicked my knucle more times than i can count trying to get bricks apart, and sweat 'cos i was boiling. anyway, enough about my internal fluids! this is by far my proudest real bricks creation so far. it didn't turn out like the image in my mind (a coupe with covered rear wheels) due to a lack of the right pieces, but i am just as pleased with the result!! i owe credit to Nils O for the steering and John Fink for the supercharger. the W.I.P caused quite a stir, so i'm looking forward to what people say about the full thing!!
About this creation
the front. it reminds me a bit of a '57 Chevy.
sloped rear. it only took 5 ATTEMPTS to get something i liked for the rear! twice due to lack of parts, once because it looked too modern and the other just didn't look very good at all
how the steering was achived. (ignore the thumb).
looks nice, eh?
told you it looked a bit similar!
back looks a teeny bit like a t-bird. just a teeny weeny bit.
with my new sig-fig!
thanks for viewing! hope you enjoy looking at it as much as i did building it!
6-wide cruiser with working steering, truly clever and amazing! Still love that front grill. I also love that rear end. The sculpting flows rather nicely. You could fit at least four, maybe five bodies in there. Er... Ummm, I mean lots of groceries. Yeah, that's what I meant. Groceries. I even love the color. Great one Sam!
