Geschützwagen Tiger
About this creation
HISTORY
The Geschützwagen Tiger (G.W. Tiger) was a German self-propelled gun made for WWII. It never saw production and/or service.

It is based of the Pz.Kpfw. VI "Tiger" II, and was made in June 1942. At the end of the war a prototype saw life and was tested, but there wasn't a (mass) production for this vehicle.

You might want to skip the next part if you don't play World of Tanks.

IN THE GAME
In World of Tanks the G.W. Tiger is a Tier 9 SPG, and it is the next vehicle in the branche, after the G.W. Tiger (P) at tier 8. I have played them both, and for artillery norms, this is a great vehicle. It is very large, so watch out if enemies are getting close.

In game stats:
Nation: Germany
Tier: IX
Weight: 59.43 / 60.0 t
Stock Gun: 170 mm Kanone 72 (Tier 8)
Top Gun: 210 mm Mörser 18/1 (Tier 9)
Alpha Damage: 1750 HP
Hit Points: 500

ABOUT/OTHER THINGS
First on: this is a very different approach for a review than the Cromwell and the T1 Heavy, I hope this works a bit for you :) It's another tank I fell in love with after trying it on the 8.9 Test Server, the G.W. Tiger, better known for me as "the SPG with the gong" (because of the big gong on the back). This is also the reason why I made the Tiger, instead of the Tiger (P). I also made it because it doesn't seemed impossible.
I think it looks pretty good. Some small details are missing, but that is simply because of lack of ideas to make them. There needs to be a typical German machine gun on the sloped front for instance, but I used 2x4 cheese bricks, so that wouldn't do. I am very fond of the gun, although the mechanism doesn't work like it works for real.
Let's stop this story without an end and skip through some pictures.

G.W. Tiger
The back, with the gong. The gong has came out pretty well in my opinion, although a lot of tubes do not connect to eachother. :P

G.W. Tiger
Showing the inside. Made it as detailed as I could. That came out pretty well, looking at the gun :)

G.W. Tiger
A random shot.

G.W. Tiger
Showing the gun elevation angles. I think it looks very good.

G.W. Tiger
A "shot", taken literally. And that ends this review.

P.S. the uploader is not working for me, so uploading the pictures was a hell of a faff, I put them on Imageshack, and HTML'ed them into the page. It took a lot of work.

Quoting Alex Sonny wesome mini GW Tiger, I never played it in-game (I went down the american branch, but yours looks very similar. Excellent job!
Not trying to refuse your logics but it's 8-wide so I don't consider it small... However, looking at your Tortoise, which is big but the Tortoise IS big, it is indeed small, also considering the GW is very big :P Anyway, thanks for leaving a comment, and going for the American branche is not a bad idea... The T92 has so much splash damage that you can completely miss someone and shoot 700 HP off :D

Quoting Alexander Paschoaletto a vehicle with a even worse name to pronunciate and write than Koenigsegg :P Really nice job, instantly recognizable and great detailed. The last picture is epic!
Thanks Alexander, and lol, you're right. You pronounce it like "Ge-Shoots-Wagon" or however you say "wagon" in your language. Or you just keep it at G.W. :)
