Happy Halloween, fellow MOCers! This custom and modified Ghost Train is accompanied by a very special guest.
About this creation

The Ghost Train modification includes many pieces from the original set to create the tender and some minor aesthetic changes to the locomotive.

Here is a close-up of the reworked pilot truck and drive rods.

The tender is housed upon the Power Function Train Motor, and it also contains the battery box and IR Receiver. This is also the first MOC in a while that uses my favorite three axle motor design.

The back of the tender has a skeleton holding the rear lamps.

The bone cages help conceal the power functions. It seems perfect for inserting a Minifig in order to steal its soul to power the train.

The front of the tender has bone openings.

Our special guest and engineer of the locomotive is none other than the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington!

Jack Skellington also has his Sandy Claws outfit with him.

*Twitch's Remarks*
This silly thing called "real life" has kept me from spending the time that I want with my precious bricks. I have had this completed for a while, and I have now uploaded it for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

I Loved the original set, and this just makes it even better! BTW: You could make a nice 4-4-0 to compliment the Constitution Train Chase's 4-6-0. Keep up the good work!

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 if I had the model and time, my concept would be to make the wagons have a hearse look, then, I d make different interiors to fit every type of monster for each wagon, ex; Frankenstein, Dracula, wolfman, swamp creature, ect, to add to the festival, I d add red lighting for the whole train s interior.
Interesting concept. I may continue with the "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme and make twisted Halloween/Christmas train cars.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 it s too bad that not much people work on this train model it has lots of potential, especially if adding lights to it, will you add wagons? well done!
Thank you! In the future I might add cars, with lots of spiderweb goodness!

Quoting jd davis Great job! Now I have to build a better one:) im really impressed with this twitch, the only thing I could possibly do to better this set is to make it bigger! But, since I have way too many projects right now, I'll have to pass this challenge until later....
The purpose was to take the official set and make it more realistic and track compatible. Making it bigger was not really the intent.
