About this creation
Here is my NCC 1701 USS Enterprise TOS Micro Model - retooled from my 2013 MOC Olympics Round 3 Entry click here . This Micro Model is a representation of the original Star Trek franchise and is Original Series inspired. The engineering hull is made mostly of an old school Lego aeroplane engine the rest discs and round Lego elements. Look for more micro starships and my large USS Enterprise model to come. Keep it tuned to my MOCpage.

Brilliant main hull, but I think Engineering needs a bit of work.

I hadn't seen that 8x8 round tile before, thanks for the information! :-)) I'll have to add that part in different colors to my BL wanted list ;-))

Great looking Enterprise - stunning considering the piece count!

Thanks! but actually it was much easier to get the shape right at this scale, it was much more difficult with the large scale Enterprise I should be releasing soon!
Quoting Tim C Could not have been easy to create the Enterprise with such a small number of pieces. This really turned out well, Chris. You put some real ingenuity into your parts usage to get the shape right. Well done.

The saucer is a standard Lego Plate! I am not sure what sets - maybe the old large blockade runner I have a few of them from a bulk lot I bought! Part ID 6177
Quoting Nils O. By the way, I still have no idea how you did the main plate of the saucer section...

Excellent micro scale building of this iconic ship. I'd suggest Technic "tubes" (the ones with pin holes inside) for the rear part of the Warp nacelles for a more seamless look. The rear cone can be fixed with a "lightsaber" inside. The rest is awesome. Great job! :-))

This is the kind of model I like to see. It is very well designed, no pieces that arent necessary. and a simple sleek design and it looks exactly like the Enterprise. Very well done!

Very very very well done. But in my opinion, the cones at the end of the warp nacelles are not the best choice. The jet-engine at the body and deflector is clever used. A clear 5/5 build dude!

You're missing the NCC-1701 U.S.S. Enterprise details! Not that big of a problem though, it looks fantastic. Space, once thought to be the Final Frontier... These are the voyages of the LEGOship Enterprise. Its five year mission; to explore strange, new memes; to seek out cyberlife and new farmvilles, to boldly go where Keanu Reeves has been before...
