Tiger's Nest Monastery, Paro Taktsang.
Tigerís Nest is the popular name of the Paro Taktsang Monastery. Itís a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site and temple complex, located in the cliff-side of the upper Paro Valley in Bhutan. The initial temple complex was built in 1692. The monastery is located 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) to the north of Paro and hangs on a precipitous cliff at 10,240 feet above sea-level, about 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley. The monastery buildings consist of four main temples and residential buildings. They are ideally designed by adapting to the rock (granite) ledges, the caves and the rocky terrain. This MOC won two awards at BrickCon 2013, Best Architectural Style & People's choice Hon. Mention.

I don't know what the people were thinking when they said that they didn't like the rockwork or whatever, but I think it looks perfect. And it's very accurate to the "actual" "rockwork" on the picture.

Quoting Lars Kumpfert The Building is epic! But you should make more an effort on the rockwork. Sry, but its not very imaginative to use vertical slopes in normal position. Try to introduce some SNOT-tech and fix them vertical or horizontal. If you want the perfect solution, take a look at Legopards Weathertop - Amon SŻl (http://mocpages.com/moc.php/361188) and use some curved slopes or big sloped bricks and connect them without order with the help of technic connectors in different angles. Hope, I can help Lars
Lars, Thank you for your feedback, it was helpful. Yes, I agree that SNOT rock building is more imaginative and I have done it in this MOC in various areas, but it was not true to the actual look of the mountain, which was what I was aiming for, rather than cool Lego rock-work. I also agree that I used stock rock pieces in some places, but with a MOC this size some compromises had to be made. :-)

My sincere Thanks, to each and every one of you for your fav's and comments. I have been building/ planning this MOC for almost a year now, so I don't see it objectively anymore, but hearing what you all are seeing and feeling, or what is being projected by the final creation is very heartening and encouraging to me.
