31006 - Gran Turismo
Alternative to Highway Speedster. I've decided to build a car from the Car after checking a lots of amazing alternatives to 31006. I spent some time to find the right angle for the hood. And even more time to find the correct ratio between the width, height and length. Have Fun even if this grand turismo is not perfect... Wrroum
About this creation

The main idea of this model came up, when I remembered some super sports from the early 80s and something little about the speed, preasure and angle of the plate. There is a few bricks at an angle of zero degrees.

It is almost "cartoonish" but the roof just can't be lower.
If it is still too high for you, just take it off.
(gray 1x1 hangers on the doors and the rear window)

This is the most viewed part of the car.

Police helicopter view.

Poseable rear-view mirrors and pretty strong side pillars.

The interior in natural leather
and agressive red dashboard.

The wing can change the angle to increase/decrease the down force.

Quoting Nathanael Kuipers ...the colour scheme is not very cohesive...
Yes, Nathanael, that is realy hard. Sometimes (bricking the alternatives) I wish to repaint all the bricks ;)

The updated version (see the LDD instructions) succesfully passed by several crash tests performed by 2 years old Agent with a permition to play. The weak parts are the rear view mirrors and the wing. The cockpit surprisingly survived.

I like the slanted, aggressive look of the model. Just the colour scheme is not very cohesive. I know that's a hard thing to do with alternates, but still. 4/5

I like the wedgy styling of this; a big improvement on the main model.

I am afraid it is more a model than a toy. It could be stronger indeed. (Edit) Problem solved! LDD instruction soon.

Nice. Is it resistant enough to play with ?

I like how you built the whole thing on a slant, it's a good technique to get the right look.
