Space Superiority Fighter of the Maxifig Home World.
About this creation

Behold, the White All-Purpose Space Pulverizer...

... or is it just an excuse to find a use for those big curved slope pieces ? Which provide this ship with it's radar cloaking, or something...

Loadsweapons, short range lasers mounted below the canopy, long range, er... photon torpedos, yes that'll do... mounted outboard.

Docked and ready for action, with intrepid pilot; who doesn't need a helmet - this is the latest model of WASP with pressurized cabin. Handy, since making helmets for Maxifigs is jolly difficult...

Prepare to defend the skies.

Built for Ron L. Mitchell's MOX prize contest, a great idea that I'm glad I had time to support.

Absolutely fabulous work with shell bricks ... Also custom figure is great. Also SNOTed cockpit looks so great. Whole build looks very elegant and girlish. I think I should really study your work. Good job!

Quoting Ian Spacek Fascinating design! It's interesting to see someone exploring the possibilities of this scale too. What are the figures called again?
Thanks Ian. The figs are Homemaker figures, also known as Maxifigs.

Awesome Nick! Reminds me of a lion fish with the quills. Great use for those curved pieces . Love the cozy cockpit with great visibility above and below! Awesome array of weaponry! Excellent

Very nice! I seem to recognize the over-amount of white curvy pieces… Let me guess, the Expert series Sydney Opera House? Great build!

Quoting Nick B Awesome build, dude. Just one gripe - the lights are the wrong way around! Port (red) is on the left, and starboard (green) is on the right! But that's just me being picky. Otherwise, nice studless work!
The technical term is D'OH!!! Thanks Nick.

Oh my!! Nick, you're building studless!! The dark side of the Lego did seize on you... :) But the result is brilliantly original. I like how you used the curved metaparts. This fighter looks like a miniature from a movie's sketch. At last, I realise building from midifig brings another value.

This is easily one of the most unconventional designs of the contest! I think you really nailed it Nick.

"Docked and ready for action"? Indeed! Ahem. Yes, very nice shaping. But before you try and sell me a fleet of these for pulverizing, will they tenderize my pork chop?

Almost bursting with raw lethal power! The shape… the curves... marvelous and terrifying at the same time. And the ship is quite attractive as well! I really dig the way you build in a scale nobody else will even touch. As always, the MOC is excellent. Attack!

Lots of details and an amazing design, the maxifig really gives you a lot more to work with when it comes to one-person craft. I like the colours (white and white and white), it looks really clean, but I think the overall smooth shape doesn't really agree with the blocky maxifig :) Still awesome!

First off, did you say "jolly difficult"? XD I LOVE THAT! This little fighter is sweet! Love the bazookas. ;) Awesome entry Nick. It actually looks completely lethal like a scorpion fish. I was wondering about those great curved pieces and how to use them as well. Now I know! Excellent!
