The return of the bots.
About this creation
BIO TIME!
Names: Volt and Blaze
Genders: None (they're robots, robots have no gender), but they are considered female.
Species: Robot
Race: Artificial Toa
Elements: Lightning and Fire (both artificial)
Occupations: Working as Toa, protecting Agori and Matoran
Titles: Sis, Arty
Kanohi: Ruru, Mask of Night Vision
Alignments: Good
MOC Status: Updated to V4.5
Personalities: Both are always happy and cheerful, very eager to fight, and enjoy kicking evil's butt, but can be serious when needed.
Bio: The Toa Council decided that they need more Toa to protect the inhabitants of Spherus Magna. Because they didn't want to give Toa Stones to random Matoran and Agori, they decided to make robot Toa, which they called "Artificial Toa". The Council put Takanuva in charge of making the first Artificial Toa. After many failed attempts, Takanuva and his team finally got it right with "Codename: Spark", a.k.a. Volt. After months of watching her on missions and such, they decided to make a clone of Volt. They did, of course, change a few things, such as color and element. Because her element was fire, they named her Blaze. Of course, the two got along well, since they are technically the same person. They were put into the team known as the Neo-Toa Mangai, which at the time consisted of Spencer and Callan.

After hearing reports of a dark figure attacking Matoran and Agori, the team was dispatched to investigate. The Toa then came across none other than Makuta Pyrodax, the leader of the reborn Makuta. After an intense fight, Spencer was severly wounded, Callan was killed, and Volt and Blaze were destroyed. Spencer managed to bring the remaining parts of both Volt and Blaze back to Takanuva. He did the best that he could to repair them, and even made a few adjustments. Luckily for them, Takanuva had a backup of their memories, but he deleted the part about their deaths, so that they don't go crazy about them being dead and whatnot. They have been working as normal ever since.

Long bio, am I right?

So, here they are!

Here's Volt.

Back.

Here's the torso. I've armored it better and made the chest flatter. Here, you can see the Power Crystal (which some of you may remember from V2). They are what keep Volt and Blaze alive and supply them with their energy. Pictured here is Volt's power crystal.

Here's the torso without armor. It's basically the same as V3, with a few minor changes. If you want to use this design, as long as you give me credit, you can. Now, before anyone comments, I know that the shoulders are not proportionate. They are one half bush away from being proportionate. HOWEVER, there is no axle that exists in the length that I need. If I use the next biggest axle, then the shoulders will look too wide and manly. So deal with it.

Back of the torso.

Here's Volt's power arm, the Electro-arm. The Electro-arm is able to channel lightning energy produced by Volt's power crystal and use it against foes. The only problem is that it drains a lot of power from the power crystal, so Volt has to use it sparingly.

Weapons! I replaced the whole hand-held blade thing with these assassin-looking blades. I think they look cool.

Action pose!

Now, here's Blaze.

Back.

Here's Blaze's power arm, the Inferno-arm. The Inferno-arm is able to channel fire energy produced by Blaze's power crystal and use it against foes. Just like with Volt, it uses a lot of power, so it must be used sparingly.

Weapons! And before anyone asks, these blades came from and Exo-Force set.

Action pose!

Action pose, with both Volt and Blaze.

V: Bye!
B: Bye!

Quoting Michal Hennel I must say that those two make perfect couple :D I dont know if it was intentional, but both figures have somewhat juvenile build (figure), making them look like boys. Also masks have smiling feel so for me they look like student-bionicles. What is the best - presentation - those poses are so well done, that they made me smile, despite fact I am not into bionicles. Great work :D 5/5
Making them look like boys was COMPLETELY unintentional. They are supposed to be female, not male. Also, not so sure about the smiling look on the masks. I don't really see it.

Quoting Stormjay Rider Yeah, I guess that would work.
I tried making the shoulders one whole bush away from the body, but unfortunately there's no axle that's the correct length. If I were to use a black axle (the one that's slightly larger than the grey one that's slightly larger than the small black one), then the shoulder would be too long.

Quoting Stephen Velthuis Cool. May I make a suggestion? The upper back looks a bit bare and flat. I think if you add some armor there and curved it outward, it would look more feminine. Other than that, I think these are the best versions yet. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! I'll see what I can do.

Quoting Ethan . Nice job Spencer, they look awesome, but I think they could use some custom legs.
Thanks! Unfortunately, I really can't think of a good design that would be good for legs, so I just use normal pieces. Remember, custom isn't always better.

Quoting Stormjay Rider The torso is much better now, but you should make the shoulders slightly longer--no normal humanoid has shoulders that thin. Also, there's some orange on Volt that should be replaced by another color. I nitpick on color a lot.
Yeah, with the orange, there's really no other color I have that will fit her, and LEGO hasn't produced those pieces in dark blu or keytorange. Although they should. Also, with the shoulders, maybe a bush or so wider?

Quoting Takis LST They're getting better! For my advice, go bigger. There's more you can do with more peices.
Thanks! Recently I have been trying to build a little bigger; see my Makuta Teridax revamp.
