About this creation

Well, here is my tribute to the longest running Sci-Fi TV show on the planet. The amazing, Dr. Who! It was a challenge for me to create a decent scene from the 50th Anniversary episode, as I only have 2 Lego sets with me, here at University. Those are the 2 sets I've bought since being here - "79006 The Council Of Elrond" and "79001 Escape From The Mirkwood Spiders." I have all of my minifigure parts with me though so the doctors themselves weren't an issue. I just had to come up with something that used those 2 sets...

After seeing the forest clip from the episode on BBC's Children In Need, I knew that that was the scene I'd have to do as foresty parts are the only pieces I have here!

So I threw together this moc and created the two doctors to go with it.

The back of the moc.

Doctor Number 11 - Matt Smith, the current doctor. Although as we know, his time is fast running out.

Here we see the tenth Doctor picking up the fez that gets thrown back through the time portal. Now for those of you who have the two sets I used in the creation of this, you'll know that there are no red studs in either set. It just so happens that my parents were sending me a parcel and I managed to persuade my Mum to fish out 2 red studs and stick them in the box especially for this purpose!

Another angle.

The Tenth Doctor - David Tennant.

Birds eye view.

And a random view to finish with.

I wish I could have created something better. Originally I had planned a big scene including lots of Doctors and lots of Daleks but forgot that I would be at Uni at this time, so instead had to whip this together. I wish it could have been better, but hey-ho. It's something, at least.

Oh and for those who haven't seen it yet, without spoilers, the anniversary episode is AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Please no spoilers in the comments though, in case some people haven't seen it yet.

Many thanks.

Quoting Abby Francis As I said in another creation dedicated to Doctor Who, I might be doing the same thing. And if I still have time tonight, I just might. But any who, Great build! Especially since you had limited pieces! Though I didn't get to see the actual special today (I am a season behind :P) I know what scene this is.
Ah okay. Haha Thanks. --Blast--
Quoting clayton Marchetti This is really cool! I like how you made the cape look like a coat. Excellent!
Thank you. --Blast--
Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy Good work, Robert. I didn't read the text (you know, spoilers), but I like your vignette.
Oh yeah. Didn't think of that! Oops. Haha. I just assumed that because the clip has been out for several weeks that people would have seen it. Lesson learnt: Never assume anything. Haha. Thank you! --Blast--
