This is the second out of three rods i built. I called it yellow frogger, for two obvious reasons, its yellow (one of my favorite colors even though i don't like to admit it in the open) and it has a frog resting on the radiator. Its flashy what can i say. I tried to keep all engines look different as you can see its longer then the other ones, that's cause its a V10. Air and fuel fed thru quad-carb velocity stacks. I was fiddling with different exhaust ideas and came up with this flame throwing exhaust ,made out of horns from a Dinosaur set, to keep things different. I really like the way the cab turned out, definetly smoother then the first one, and i thought putting a shield on each side was a nice touch.
Thanks for the review of my Ratrod! I really like this Hot Rod, yellow is a good color for it. Nice lines. I'm planning on doing some new cars. I've been inspired by a recent posting on Brickshelf. I'll be posting them up hopefully by the end of the month. Keep an eye out!
the body is very nice, i like the roof (very dynamic-looking) and the "sunken" tires. the exhaust is interesting, a nice twist on the idea, though perhaps a bit unsubstantial for such an engine and such a car. the carb looks good, though it would look even better if you could connect little hoses to the beaker handles. the cylinder banks look plain boring (that may sound a bit harsh but it's true). all in all, four stars because it's definitly an improvement over your first attempts.
