Eddie Stobart Truck
The motorway God, Eddie Stobart.
About this creation
Well here’s a familiar sight on Britain’s roads and motorways.
An Eddie Stobart truck.
This is based on a Volvo FH truck although this looks more like an older Volvo but a Volvo truck nevertheless.
This truck is 47 studs long and my usual 7 studs wide.
Hope you enjoy it.

On the trailer both doors fully open.

Both driver and passenger doors open.

Interior shot with that all important mug of coffee, can’t be a Lego truck without it.

Flip down bunk bed.

With the interior being only 5 wide the poor old driver is a bit cramped on his bunk. It’s a bit better than sitting but I think he wishes this truck came in a super luxurious 8 wide scale.

Home-made stickers

Refrigerator unit.

A great way to transport dark red Lego plates so they arrive at their destination nicely chilled.

The cab pivots to reveal it’s engine. We’re having a bit of trouble getting this one started.

Help is always on hand.

Forget flowers, show her you love her with Lego…named after my good lady wife, Amanda Jane.
Yes, I know, Andy and Mandy sitting in a tree……We’ve heard them all!

If you don't know the reason behind the truck being named, it's because all Eddie Stobart trucks have female names and are usually named after someone.

Thank you very much for dropping by.

Hello Johnny, glad you like it and thank you very much for commenting. I haven't done any instructions for this. At the moment I'm very busy refitting my kitchen but after that I may have time to put some instructions together, it can be a lengthy process. I'll keep you posted.

Quoting Alex Sonny An excellent model, I've seen quite a few of these on my trip to London. The use of custom stickers really makes your creations unique and brings them to a whole new level of realistic. This, combined with such intricate design makes your models the best in my opinion. May I just ask how exactly do you make the custom stickers?
Thank you Alex for such a great comment. I do my stickers using the internet and paint shop pro. I've just upgraded to a much newer version of PSP but find myself going back to my old version which is about 15 years old, still get good results using old paint shop software. The actual sticker sheets I use are printable transparent adhesive backed A4 sheets available from Hobbycraft (and now anywhere on the net) and vinyl matt label sheet which is available from Amazon. Hope this helps.

A great looking truck, I love it! The front grill looks very nice, the truck just screams Volvo. I like the locks on the trailer too, I may have to borrow them sometime when I build a 10 wide truck. A luxurious 8 wide truck? Why not a godly 10 wide, then again, maybe he wants to be able to fit in only one lane... :/ Ether way, nice job on the truck, keep it up.

Fantastic moc! :) It's cool that you put working own-built doors and a bed into the cabin. And the small dark red plate transprter in nice, too!

Very impressive build at this scale. I have to agree with Clayton -- the rear doors look very good, as do all of the custom stickers.
