Quoting Technic Man
I really like the idea. But you thought in this because you're not sure about how to build the bodywork or because of the PF? Anyway, the link isn't working. Can you fix that please?
Ah, I canned this idea because whilst everyone said it was cool few people wanted to actually participate. It's a dead link now so I'll remove it
Quoting Tommy S.
Are you gonna mount PF stuff in it and make it RC?
Perhaps, it depends on the winning bodywork and engine designs.
One of the 'Desirable' criteria for both the bodywork and engine will be to retain PF compatibility. How to ensure this will be set out in the component requirements in the Flickr and MOCpages groups soon.
Looks good, I have no experience with Lego technic at all, but with big ambitions to become an automotive designer, and experience within some aspects automotive design, I'm sure I could make myself useful in some way :) I have joined the group, if you need any sort of design, I may not be able to help you in real Lego but I'm sure I could help in some other ways!
Hi Ape, I hope you let me in, it's a fantastic idea, and you know, I'm into Technic. As for this first build, I'm totally on love with the outline. So 3 for a good start+ 5 for the excellent idea makes 8/5? :-)
That's a very interesting idea to have different parts built by different people. Unfortunately, I haven't really built anything in Technic, and I don't have many of those kinds of pieces, so I'll only be an observer. I'm looking forward to seeing how this project progresses, though!
