About this creation
I was intrigued by Ian Spacek's category Pair Dare for round 5 of the MocOlympics so I built this creation during that round (even though I was out) because I thought that it would be fun! The category said this:
Select two specific kinds of pieces (for example: the 1x2 brick and the jumper-plate) and then create a MOC using ONLY those two specific kinds. Feel free to use multiple colors of those bricks but they must be ONLY those two bricks. Choose wisely!

I spent about one or two hours on it and originally built it just from the hinge piece. After checking with Ian, I added on the cheese slopes. Only now am I posting it because I had other things to post.

My next build (most likely if it's not Spot the Differences) will be a big one that I've been working on on and off for about two months, so stay tuned!

Anyway, on to the MOC - I have the hero with the sword and shield and the crab/robotic type bad guy. Both are fully articulated and fairly stable. Enjoy!

Here is the crab/robotic dude.

Now for the hero.

This was a fun build! I like how LEGO plates can "connect" to each other sideways - that's how this MOC was possible!

Thanks for looking, God bless!

Interesting selection! I like the parts used for them! The crab is my favorite! By the way, all the R4 entries in my 4x4 contest have been submitted, we can start judging now!

Quoting Alex Rode That is so cool! You know what my idea was? I could totally build a mosaic using only 1x1s and 2x1s! Probably one of my best ideas.
Ooh. good one! Thanks!

Quoting matt rowntRee What a challenge, eh? A truly difficult category and a great interpretation. I'm hoping that Stu goes through with a contest of sorts along this line. It really pushes the boundaries of thought. Excellent job with these little guys, you got a lot of personality into them in so few pieces. Brilliant!
I too think it would be a fun contest! Thank you!
