LIU Titanus Transport
The Ludgonian Industrial Union's fleet of Titanus Transports promises to change the way the universe travels. Its unprecedented size and seating capacity, combined with its revolutionary star drive, has made space travel cheap enough for the common man.
Take your family to the moon base for vacation or send business personell to meet with distant empires in person. Order tickets now!

The size of the Titanus Transport dwarfs the other transports available.

Here's a view down the Titanus' side. Windows allow the travellers to see the passing stars, even if the stars appear as streaks to the speedy Titanus.

A view of the giant from the top.

The front of the transport has antennas for communication and the ship's emblem.

This Titanus is owned by the LIU's state run company, Grasshopper Airlines. Why name your airline after a grasshopper? Crafty marketing executives wanted to use the catch phrase, "Hop to It". The slogan failed, but the airline kept the name.

Steering thrusters flank both sides of the Titanus. These help the pilots to turn. You can see the Grasshopper Airlines emblem on the side as well.

This photo and the two above show off the Titanus' sensor packed roof. Everything from antennas, radars, and A/C units lace the top.

Ahh..we finally come to one of the Titanus' revolutionary features, the star drive. Four fusion cells power these four engines, giving the Titanus speed that was once reserved for military vehicles. Fusion power is cheap and requires little maintainance, saving the airlines money. They then pass the savings on to you.

This particular Titanus was configured to have three doors. One to the engineering bay, one to the first class section, and one to general seating. The doors almost disapper when they are closed(shown closed).

One last overall photo before we head inside. Hold your horses...we'll get in soon enough.
The Inside
The Cabin

Five crew members work the cabin: the Captain, two pilots, and two deckhands.

One deckhand monitors these controls. They deal mostly with engineering aspects like fuel levels, speed, and troubleshooting computers.

The two pilots man these controls, like radar, steering, and route generators.

The other deckhand monitors these controls. He's responsible for communication and customer service. He picks cabin temperature and the inflight movie. Its a burden he wouldn't want to pass on to anyone else. The Captain monitors his crew of four from behind.

The cabin crew poses for a photo. The deckhands are in white, the pilots are in black with white hats, and the Captain is in the center with a black hat. Why do they have anchors on their uniforms? The Titanus is so large, the LIU requires a military crew to man it. Several unlucky naval officers are assigned this task.
General Seating

The general seating section seats twenty three passengers. Its slightly cramped, but more people means lower ticket prices.

The general seating passengers get a small TV to pass time on the Titanus. The deckhand chose the Matrix for their viewing pleasure.

One deckhand mans the general seating area at all times. The cheap seats get rowdy occasionally. He doesn't seem to mind, as he stares mindlessly at the TV.
First Class

The first class section is for the big-money travellers. Instead of traditional seating, the first class section was designed into three seperate areas. Cafe seating allows you and a friend to chat across a table. It holds five partners. Six people can sit in the conference section, where you are arranged in a circle. Four lucky people get a seat one of two mini-bars. They face a big screen TV.

The first class section has its own cook to order Chefs. The LIU recommends the shark tacos.

Just down from the Chefs, there is a self-serve orange daiquiri machine. Yes, you read it right. Get your vacation started off right with the Titanus' famous daiquiri(Non-Alcoholic Version is not available.

This pic and the one above show off the conference seating. Today, six tuxedo clad LIU Governors discuss economics while enroute to the moon base. They are going to the moon to inquire about purchasing land for the LIU.

The cafe seating is usually reserved by couples, but today, Casino Magnate Ron Gate has purchased the section's ten seats. His nine mistresses accompany him. Note the hot twins on his side. Its good to be rich.

Four lucky passengers reserved the mini-bar seats. They gorge themselves on alcohol and shark tacos while watching Star Wars on the big screen.

A view of the passengers at the mini-bars. God..the cowboy's wife is ugly. All together, twenty passengers can be seated in the first class section.
The Engineering Bay

Two deckhands man the engineering bay. The man on the left is a slacker and loves the stress free days in the engineering bay. His partner on the right hates it. "When I signed up for the navy, I thought I'd be assigned to cruiser or a battleship. This is ridiculous!"

Four fusion cells line the wall of the engineering bay. They power the ship's engines and the ship's systems. Computers help the deckhands optimize the engines and make repairs.

Thanks for visiting the Titanus Transport. Remember to demand this transport at all your local spaceports. Fly cheap anywhere, we don't care, what you wear! (Another failed Grasshopper Airlines' tagline.)
Note: Ticket prices may vary between 1000 credits to 10,000 credits for general seating and 10,000 credits to 100,000 credits for first class seating. Orange daiquiris are a trademarked product of the LIU. The LIU is not responsible for any accidents that occur in first class section due to alcohol consumption. Luggage handling is done by low paid, drug using teens, and the LIU does not guarantee that any of it will arrive at your destination.
