Bilbo's perspective right before jumping over Gollum.
The main tunnel to the "back door."
This is my entry for MELO R1: Riddles in the Dark.
I went for a literal translation by doing the scene where Bilbo leaps over Gollum to escape the tunnels. However, it could also be construed as the riddle for dark, since the tunnels of the Misty Mountains never see the light of day.
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills. It comes first and follows after, Ends life, kills laughter. "Dark!"
"And then quite suddenly in another flash, as if lifted by a new strength or resolve, he leaped. No great leap for man, but a leap in the dark. Straight over Gollum's head he jumped..." (Tolkien, The Hobbit, page 87.)
Although I quote the book, I based this scene's appearance largely off of Peter Jackson's movie.
You seem to have everything in order, but you still need to add it to the group. Make sure and do that. Great Job here, I am a fan of scenes straight from the movie, and you captured it pretty well. For a first creation your doing great!
