About this creation
My final entry for the CCC, for the secret hideout category, a tower in the moruth swamps of nocturnus, accomodating spies of the black spire. also for GOH chI:B
Originally this was going to have a dragon on it, but i ran out of time to learn myself in the art of making dragons. oh well, next time.
enjoy!

This is fantastic. The angles and textures are perfect. This is astounding! Excellent job, David!

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a building constructed from Lego that looked quite like this before.

Cut the vines and it will colapse. Excellent build and piece usage. Also very unpopular lime here works just fine.

Wow. That's one wibbly-wobbly build! The shape is fantastic and I agree with everyone else who has said that the colours work really well. --Blast--

Like others here, I'm loving the textural work. I think that the color (or in this case, mostly just value) blocking works beautifully, too. All of that visual activity created by the textural techniques could easily have gotten out of hand and become too busy. But the color blocking seems to temper that a bit and create a wonderful balance. Great piece!

I am amazed by texture tyet again, but do you not think you have gone overboard with the helms and hair? I think that part may not be as realistic as you would hope. Maybe the long gray hair would work better?

Fantastic! This is crazy good, and I think the awkward angles make it even more epic. This is truly a fantastic MOC, great job!

The texturing is simply eye candy. I actually disagree with the others down below. I think the tricky angles enhance the ruined look well. Oh, and you have two of these posted.

Good job as always..though I gotta agree with previous comments...looks like a gentle summer breeze will knock it over and kill all the people hiding out in it. Oh well I take the suspects inside are guilty regardless other wise they wouldn't be suspect now would they?

A very unusual build. A lot going on here. Looks like a castle in a story book.

Those lime-green vines really pop! The tilted angles and lack of major details kind of make this look cartoonish, however.

Very impressive build! As always, you never disappoint with your odd angles;) I have to agree with Halhi 141 on this though, it seems a bit to "shaky."

While the texturing is fantastic, I think it looks /too/ dilapidated...
