This is a lead-in to my Enalican Challenge MOC, which shouldn't be too far away. ;)
About this creation

Cazzmir's father was gone. The cottage was left abandoned, ransacked from a rushed departure.
And someone was about to pay.

He knew exactly who would do this. The man who'd been cruel to him from as far back as he could remember.
Cazzmir reached for the knob.

In one swift motion, he threw open the door and notched an arrow, pointing straight at Govenor Arvon's forehead.

"WHERE'S MY FATHER?" Cazzmir shouted.

The Govenor of Infordest didn't squeal and fall out of his chair like Cazzmir hoped he would. He wasn't even surprised.
"Mr. Velmont is . . . enjoying my hospitality." Arvon informed calmly. "Now, I don't think it's very wise to aim a weapon at your very own govenor, is it?"

Cazzmir gritted his teeth. Arvon was right. And he hated that. But he bit back a string of curses and lowered his bow.

Arvon cleared his throat. "Let's get down to business. I've been told you're remarkably skilled in archery. Who taught you?"

Cazzmir wanted to sink an arrow into his face right then and there.
WHO GIVES A CARE ABOUT MY ARCHERY SKILLS?! WHERE'S MY FATHER?! He wanted to scream.
But he forced himself to answer. "My father."

Arvon slid out of his seat and gestured toward the rack of swords on the wall behind him. "I also hear that your swordplay is almost as adequate. Is this true?"

After resisting the urge to run forward and slap Arvon accross the face, Cazzmir spat, "Yes."

Arvon slipped out the nearest sword. "This will be useful."

He moved over to the glass case, which held a gold knife. "My father gave me this charm. I wore it to every battle. Used it each time, too. Fine weapon. You'll need this as well."

"What's this have to do with anything?" Cazzmir snapped. "What are you talking about?"

"Hmm?" By this time, Arvon had pulled out his knife and was already admiring its golden exterior. "Oh, yes. In order to keep your father . . . alive. . . . You'll need to do a few simple tasks for me. There's a rumor that one of the precious saphires of Meids has entered Infordest's borders. It's being delivered to Falmor, but it's had to take a little detour through one of our lesser islands. Their mistake. You will find the saphire, take down its defenders, and bring it to me. Understood?"

Cazzmir couldn't believe what Arvon was telling him. "Are you insane?!" He blurted. "You expect me to waltz in on a bunch of highly trained Mythronian soldiers and steal a priceless saphire?!"

"I'm afraid you don't have a choice." Arvon smiled. "Your father's fate rests on your shoulders. You leave at dawn. Don't disappoint me."

Cazzmir whirled around and stormed off. Arvon was right. Again.
If he didn't go along with his little game . . . his father wasn't going to be enjoying the govenor's hospitality for much longer.

Bonus pics. Tell me what you think.

I'm seriously liking this story. :O I WILL CONTINUE. Thanks for reading!

Quoting Stealth Ninja I like the quiver!
Thanks! I do, too. :P The thing is, I don't really have any regular quivers, so I've had to use this. Really satisfying. ;D

Quoting Stormjay Rider Looks pretty nice overall. Everything's good, except for a few minor nitpicks. The "columns" on the front of the building are uneven, and if they are supposed to be windowpanes, that's not really a proper effect for them. The angle plate that we see in the "snow" in the first pic, next to the path, should be replaced with a mirror image of that plate. And lastly, maybe make the governor's office all in one type of brick--but I can understand if you don't have enough brown bricks. That's part of why I'm not in LOM. Overall, great build, and interesting story.
Thanks for your opinion! I'm not sure what you mean by the columns . . . o.O But I didn't really want a mirror image of snow. And yes, I ran out of brown bricks, soo I was kinda squeezing in my last parts. :P

Quoting Gilbert Despathens Apparently the Masked hasn't dealt with this governor yet, and it looks like he'll have his work cut out. You might want to check with your faction leader, though - he's been bumping off governors as part of the faction overhaul. Great house and story, though. Everything looks excellent.
Yeah, I've been thinking about that. I'll talk to Caleb about it. Thanks for your thoughts!
