"A dark power has found its way back into the world." --Radagast
About this creation
Here is my first entry to the 2013-14 Middle Earth Lego Olympics. The category I chose was dark:

3. It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. It lies behind stars and under hills, and empty holes it fills. It comes first and follows after, ends life, kills laughter.
(Answer: Dark)

I built the scene in the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey when Radagast goes to Dol Guldur and first sees the Necromancer (the dark power). You can find a reference picture that I used here, and here is a clip of the scene.

"I have seen him, Gandalf." (another Radagast quote)

Here is my custom Radagast figure. I am pretty pleased with him. If anyone has advice on how I could improve him, I would love to hear it (especially if someone knows of a better head for Radagast than Gandalf's).

Quoting David Alexander Smith Hi Finn. First gotta say I love the shadows on this one. Up my street obviously. Also, just wondering if you are planning on entering the MOCathalon this year? Myself, Matt RownTree and Garrett Smith are looking for a couple of other TFOL builders, and your name popped up as talented individual.
I am planning to enter the MOCAthalon but I am already on a team. It seems in danger of disbanding, though, and if it does I like the sound of your team. If you can fill your team with others, that is Ok, otherwise I should know how available I am In a few days.

Quoting Petric G. Good build! and ecelent "foliage"! How many poor minifigs had to leave there hands? ;-) Excellent Radagast too!
I think there are 28 hands in the thorn vines. That would mean 14 poor Minifigs are sitting around in the hospital after amputations.
