To start off we have a trio of knights approaching the tower.

So here you have a few defendants up on the top battlements watching for enemies. Sorta like in LOTR all the dudes watching from Minas Tirith. Only this isn't a movie remake. Accuracy to the book is important!! Okay, so I'll be quiet, leave my opinions on the LOTR movies to myself and just get on with this.

So the bright ones out there might be wondering if there's more to this than meets the eye.
Note pink flowers - Thanks to a wonderful friend of mine for sending them too me since I didn't have any. You know who you are.

So look at the window. It deserves attention. It was a royal pain in the...well nevermind the specifics.

That one design took me 2+ hours easily to get built and to work in the wall. Not to mention the help of several people from C-C chat. Thanks guys!

So if you're actually looking at all these pics you might have noticed the hinges in there. Now why would I put hinges in for no apparent reason? Come on. You have a brain, so use it.

Don't worry, they'll all be loyal and stay in line after they say what happened to the last person who disobeyed. Suffice it to say that it is a long drop down the wall.

So if this was a space MOC I'd have a big yellow and black warning strip because of the sudden stairs. But it isn't. So there's no warning. Understand?

Just check out the playability! Yeah, now you're wondering about if there's an interior. Would I really not do a interior? Honestly. Well okay, maybe I would skip it. But not in this case. Just scroll down already.

So here's the basement. So you ask how do they get up to the main level? Watch and learn.

Note that not every space is filled. There's two possible explainations. Either some of them are used by the castle people, or I just don't have much castle LEGO.

Once again, if this was a space MOC I'd have a big warning sign of the sudden hole in the floor. But it isn't, so I don't, and I just hope if you aren't paying attention and fall down it that you have good life insurance.

As you can see, everything splits down the middle with a pin to hold it togeter. There's another at the very bottom of the landscaping too.

So, as you probably noticed before, there's a bookshelf here for good reading during times of peace in the kingdom. Needless to say, they haven't had a chance to read any of them yet.

So here you can see how everything matches up inside. It actually closes with no problems, and all the staircases fit together and stuff. Brilliant designing eh? Yeah, okay, so it isn't really super-brilliant. But it's my first real castle MOC, and I had no clue what I was doing with it. What are you going to do? Throw rotten veggies at me?

In conclusion, here's the entire interior for you, showing the lack of defenders for the castle. Mainly because I just don't have any more Black Falcon figs. Of course if you wish to donate you can just leave a review...

It is very good very detailed in side but it needs more arrow slits on the side so your knights can fire arrows out of them and you can see inside without opening it all the way!

I love it. Those basement stairs are really clever. I'd give you some BF minifigs but I need them. Why don't you just get the templates from Classic castle and get rid of a bunch of useless men? Thats what I did. |
