The NHK-1 (Nehéz HarcKocsi) is a heavily upgraded version of the IS-3. Changes were made to the engine, the gun was completely replaced with a newer model, a 122mm M62-T2 gun, better frontal protection on both the chassis and turret, but the main change is the optics an the ability to add an IR light for night fighting.
Mr. Sylvan, I don't think the members of D&C4 comment on one anothers works in general, but it is my personal policy to comment on every MOC posted in any group I am a member of. In regard to these tanks, I find the scale challanging, but far more practicle than minifig scale. I don't have my tank up yet, but I am beginning to think of something in this size range. Attack! (but not right now...)
I like the smooth, round, low profile turret: just like many modern tanks. The hull seems a bit long at the back but I suppose that it balances the long barrel of the main gun. I like the way that you've used different coloured bricks to produce a camouflage effect.
Excellent work, e like nose is a very impressive piece of building ingenuity, I have been trying to make one for a while with no avail. That turret is very sleek and deadly and the camo is nice too. Naturally, I prefer the comet though! Can I use the comet as an interim tank for the Neo British empire while I work on my own?
I like it

This looks great! don't forget to send me those treads when you get the chance. Matt's next pack with all my aircraft should be out soon as well.
