Lady of Lórien
About this creation
Battle in the Barad Dur Bracket of the Middle Earth Lego Olympics.

Legopard vs Saequis (Sam M)
"Your quest runs on the edge of a knife, stray but a little, and it will fail."

Seems like this MELO rounds are all based on quotes from Middleearth. Very nice idea judges!
My quote allowed me to build once again Lothlorien but his time with a different focus. While i had to use water the last time i could this time build one of the typical crowns of the tall trees in Lothlorien.
The shown treehouse is the place where the Lady of Lórien receive the fellowship of the ring in the first movie.

Lothlorien

My attention was definitely on the realization of the typical fragile elvish architecture.

Next to the fact that this is the scene Galadriel speaks the given quote, the typical stairway of Lothlorien represents that Peter Jackson never cares about his actors, because non of the narrow bridges or stairways in Middleearth ever have a balustrade.
Would have been very frustrating if the quest would have end in Lórien, because Frodo fell down the stairways ;)

Lothlorien

I'm looking forward to Saequis' and all the other entry of this and the following rounds!
Thanks to the judges for doing their job and especially for the very quick judgement time of the first round.

Stay crĉtive!
Jonas

I love the building so much! The tree is pretty awesome too, but does that staircase increase by half plates?... soo good! I am not sure about us building against each other next round, I think if it is still a high low seed then we should only build against each other in the semifinals, we definitely could though, at which point we would have an awesome round. Good luck in R3 as well!

Hi Jonas, awesome job! While I thought the tree was a little inorganic, I loved the architecture of your elvish structures. You have my vote!

You did a great job capturing the fragile seeming, yet strong elegance of the Elves (if that makes any sense).

Great set, the way you made the stairs is so cool. You managed the twists and turns quite nicely.

Terrific MOC. Lots of well done twists and turns, like the stairs and the building.

Excellent entry (mine will be up tomorrow). I am also taking a more literal take on the category and doing the mirror scene. Good luck!

I like the style of your MELO entries. They only show studs where necessary or can't be avoided. This adds much to the excellent design. Keep it up.

Fanastic, the detail you've designed into this build is just brilliant, love the design of the buildings and everything else is too hard to described, so ill just say lost for words :)
