MELO Round 2- Justin Knelsen vs. David Alexander Smith- On the shores of the Sea
Well here it is my second entry to the Middle Earth Lego Olympics! The category was awesome, and although the build I chose to do was quite out of my comfort zone I though I would try it anyway. My category was "He lived happily ever after to the end of his days" and of course Frodo and Bilbo lived happily ever afer. and it all started on the shores of the sea. Oh and sorry about the picture quality I tried for so long to get these pictures my Camera is horrible, for backround all I have is posterboard from Dollarama, and no photo editing program to help with my lighting issues. Anyway enough of my complaining enjoy the build!

Forced perspective vs. negative space...a hard match to judge, this! While both entries are very elegantly done, I think yours appeals to me a tad more (especially in terms of the category). It was a hard decision, but in the end, you've got my vote!

Hi Justin, great job! While I thought you came short as far as effect, especially considering David's entry, and I thought many elements of your build were lacking (like the photography, as you pointed out), the difficulty of build that you attempted and the creativity involved gave you the edge. You get my vote!

A beautiful forced prospective! I know from previous experiences, it can be really hard to get the "right" shot. Good Luck! ~Brick
