MELO R2: Eli Willsea vs. Matthew B.
Orthanc Bracket "Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life.”
About this creation
The link the the MELO homepage.
The link to my fabulous opponent Matthew B.

Here is my entree to round 2 of the Middle Earth Lego Olympics!
In this creation I attempted to recreate the scene of the Bridge of Khazad-dûm.

This is where Gandalf "dies" fighting the Balrog as they plummet down the abyss below the bridge. Gandalf dies but is brought back to life later because he deserved to live. The Balrog, which lived for far to long in the Mines of Moria, finally dies.

I had fun with the humorous rendition of the "fellowship" and other microfigs.
I had to hurriedly build this creation in one day due to leaving on a trip, hope you enjoy it, and good luck to my opponent!

-God Bless

Quoting Professor B. Don't you hate it when you're at 49? :P I realize now that I have never commented on this before. Most excellent! Superb rockwork. And that water... Fabulous MOC Eli.

Wonderful creation! :) Unfortunately I could not finish an entry because of time and the fact I was in another competition, but I'm sure you would have beat me anyway. :)

Awesome Eli. We were able to see this in person and it is truly excellent. I think you've inspired Joshua and Nicholas. The rock walls are so real and the splash is a great touch.

Very, very well done! The thing that really sticks out to me is the rocks splashing into the water at the bottom. A minor detail, I know, but still.
