Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
My last creation, and I think, personnaly, my best one...
About this creation
Finally I finished it. Some teaser pictures were already shown, but this time it is the right one. It was a long build, took me 3h for the chassis (started with a blank sheet of paper), 3h for the shape and about (again) 3h for the interior + details.
First of all, some history about the 33 stradale. In my mind the first real supercar, because: little production, racing car, and beautifully magnificent!! It is the most beautiful car in the world (well I think).
On the technical side:
 Working V8 engine
 Working steering + steering wheel
 Opening doors
The body: I think it is quite accurate (what do you think about it?). I didn’t change the front, because I think it is good as it is. The back is a mixture of ford gt and stratos. The line of the car was revisited; I changed the wheel arches at the back. The interior is very simple. The big work was on the doors. Lower on the page are pictures of the mechanism (for jet best and his M*****n F* for example…)
I first had in mind to build this car because of the front light bubbles; I thought it could be a great idea, and because I never saw it before here.

INTERIOR:

THE ENGINE:

here is a picture of the mechanism for the doors:

and here a picture of the steering system:

Some other pictures:

and here random stuff:
> I changed again my 2002 turbo:

> hello bugatti, oh it was a bugatti, because it didn't saw the tree in the middle of the road @ 150mph ...

> and here my rally car project ...

Thank you a lot for watching this, I hope you liked it and I hope you will rate it and comment it!! And don't forget TopGear season 21 tomorrow

Quoting Alex B I like it! Your Mocs always bring obscure cars to my attention. :) I enjoy that. I agree with what Thomas said below, I think that you could try to improve on that. Otherwise, fantastic car!
Thanks Alex! I already tried some modifications! I'll update the car soon! 8-)

Quoting XY EZ Thanks a lot but I don't see why it is disproportionate ?
Perhaps not really disproportionate, but for example the rear wheels stickout quite a lot. Things like that look a bit odd compared to the real car. The biggest part of a Lego car is getting the overall shape right, the most recognisable part of a car. In this car, you have all the details and the shape is also coming a good way, but if you'd spend more time polishing, smoothing up the exterior, I think the car would be better. I think disproportionate is wrong word for it, but I hope you understand what I mean. :3

Quoting Thomas Graafland Looks very cool, but I think that if you'd spend a little more time looking at the real car dimensions and refining your MOC that it could get far better! 4 from the 5 smilies for now.

Quoting Scott Bertaut A great looking car! I must admit, I often have trouble commenting on your MOCs, your cars are obscure, but they are also European (I live in America) so most of them I haven't seen and will probably never see. Great work on the car, I love the front lights, really cool use of the cockpit part. The engine is nicely detailed too. Awesome job!
Thanks Scott!! I must also admit that for me, American cars are obscure (as you said it) because we don't see them here ! 8-)
