LIU Silent Death
Destroy any enemy on any terrain with the LIU's newest tank, the Silent Death
About this creation
LIU Silent Death

A combination of speed, stealth, and firepower make the Ludgonian Industrial Union's newest tank the most deadly land based product around.

An electronic skin, radar absordant armor, and a low profile make the Silent Death almost undetectable to your enemies.

The Silent Death is armed with a four-barrel gatling gun, a side mounted grenade launcher, and a long range plasma cannon.

The front of the Silent Death shows off its low profile. You can also see the gatling gun, the infrared vision system, and the pilot's infrared windscreen.

Here's a close up of the gatling gun and the Silent Death's spotlight. The light tucks away (above) when it is in stealth mode.

The infrared vision system is seen here. An infrared laser shoots a wide beam across the Silent Death's path while the electronic eye collects reflected beams and transmits it into a picture on the pilot's infrared windscreen. There are two of these systems, one on each side of the tank.

Here's the infrared screen. Also, note the two small tow rings on the front.

Six independent wheels on each side of the tank give the Silent Death unmatched agility and speed over any terrain.

The left side of the Silent Death is armed with a greande launcher. It's perfect for killing unprotected infantry. The LIU is sorry the photographed tank is so dirty... it just returned from a training exercise on the dusty plains of a LIU homeworld.

This compartment opens to reveal the launcher's automatic reloading system.

The right side of the Silent Death.

The right side of the Silent Death has the tank's extendable communication antenna. It lowers is stealth mode (above).

The top of the tank sports the 360 degree turret. The turret is armed with a long range plasma cannon (45 MHz). The cannon is deadly over two miles. It makes minced meat out of infantry and scraps enemy armor.

It is far from being the most powerful main gun out there, but its small size allows it a repeat rate five times faster than traditional tanks. When firing at full speed, it almost appears the plasma cannon is an automatic weapon.

"Cuz'...I'm...staring down the barrel of a 45 MHz, 45 MHz..."

The back of the Silent Death has a large door to enter the interior. It has thick, angled armor that protects the crew inside. Also, note the Silent Death's deadliest weapon, the Magnetic Munitions Launcher (MML). This revolutionary weapon launches explosive munitions off its magnetic rod. More on it later.

Here's the door opening. Let's check out the inside.

The Interior

The Silent Death's interior has plenty of room for its crew of four. The four members are: the driver, the navigator, the gunner, and the bomber.

The pilot, who's wearing a scope on his helmet, drives the Silent Death with the infrared screen and his sophisticated controls.

To the pilot's left is the navigator. Using his computers, the navigator plots courses and routes. He is also in charge of the tank's communications.

The gunner controls the plasma cannon, gatling gun, and the grenade launcher. How does he control so many weapons? He uses his chair's integrated visor. It pulls down in front of his eyes and gives him a realtime view of his surroundings.

The visor down.

The visor flipped up.

The final crew member, the bomber, awaits orders from command. He's in charge of the MML and all of it ammunition.

The bomber keeps most of his munitions in this protected closet.

The closet opens revealing the munitions. The MML fires these across the battlefield destroying its targets.

The bomber grabs a thermal round from the closet.

He places it on the Magnetic Munitions Launcher.

The MML then lifts to firing height.

The bomber then fires the thermal rocket at a target of his choice. Fire reigns from the sky.

While the Silent Death is loading up on munitions, a beautiful news reporter and her crew use the tank as a back drop. She interviews a LIU spokesman.
"So, sir, is it true that the LIU has once again returned to a military power?"
"Unfortunately, its true beautiful. The LIU, desperate to increase profits, has began a military campaign to increase its slave labor. Hopefully, when the quota is met, we will return to our peaceful stance."

The Silent Death can be retrofitted to carry soldiers instead of munitions. Here, six special ops are training for their next mission. Yep, we all fit in there.

The special ops line up for a photo shoot with the news reporter.

"So, sir, I thought the LIU disbanded its military? I mean, where did you come from?"
"Beautiful, the LIU would never completly disband its military! Not in this chaotic universe! Our mission just changed from conquering to protecting. With the labor crisis, I guess we are going back to the old ways!"
"Very well...uhh...by the way, why are you pointing your weapon at the camera man?"
"I don't like the way he looks..."

Note: The Ludgonian Industrial Union does not officially acknowledge that it uses slave labor...officially...

i like this tank a lot! the black confers it a mysterious and special stealth look, that really fit it s purpose, i think it does nt get the credit it should because of the studs on the interior, they are quite distracting from your most excellent space management, black is nt easy! very nice stealth tank!

Nice, very nice.Hey just wonderin if you wanna be allies?I can help you with some more ships if you help me.I think you might need some help with your war.My transport(space)can carry about 15 men, and one pilot. My tanks have the most weapons for a smaller tank, cuz this one is big!I also have the Dragonwing, a high class destroyer thats britshing with weapons and 125 studs long. Then I have a awesome fleet of space/air fighters that I think are even better than yours! And please dont say no cuz I cant upload my pics yet, Theyll be on mocpages in a few days.PLEASE ACCEPT!I NEED SOME MORE ALLIES!

Looks effective enough! But with all the equipment, it looks like for a force of 100 you'd need half a google bucks.

Nice clean design; the colours are bang-on - black and trans-red are my personal favourites. I prefer a tracked design, but this is a nice twist. Lee.
