TI: Freebuild: Head-on Assault
My first freebuild for the Insurgency. Yeah, I know. It's kinda plain. Not really any special techniques. . . . Well, whatever. READ.
About this creation

Yeah, here's a pic without the sloppy editing. :P

Daytime work wasn't really Amira's thing. But when she heard the report of a criminal on the run, she couldn't help herself. As soon as she could, she saddled up her gear and climbed the nearest building in the path of the oncoming vehicle. So what if she helped out the police? The least they could do was thank her.
As the car zoomed toward her, she took a deep breath and pulled the trigger.

Bonus pics. The hover-car thingie. :3

Yeah, the back with the thrusters.

The building with the Galactic Imperium initials. Do they have recruits here? Or is it just a cool sign I made with tiles? You never know. . . .

The roof. Good thing I had these big mostly-studless plates. I ran out of tiles fast. Cause I didn't want to leave a bunch of ugly studs on the roof. LIKE MOST PEOPLE DO FOR SOME REASON THAT I DON'T KNOW OF.

Shelves inside.

Back view of the room. Don't ask what those things in the corners are, because I don't know, either. :P I just made them . . . because they're . . . futuristic'ish.'

Whole build minus the vehicle, sign, and Amira.

The roof. I know, it looks cool. :3 Probably the only technique worth seeing in the whole MOC. :P

Yeah, the story was short. I was kinda focused on the build this time. Even though it wasn't that great. Welp, my next Insurgency MOC will be a League build, btw. Just to get some points. More to come soon! And thanks for reading!

Quoting Armon Russ Yeah, better to have something unique in something simple than . . . wait . . . nvm. Well, thanks. :P
You know what I mean. :P Simple overall, but with some nice details on the roof. :P

Nice editing on the car! Btw, what's with the sludge coming from that gun?

Quoting Kai Bernstein Simple but good. GI in GI colors and a dark bley road would look a bit better, I think, but it's still fine. Nice roof, though; not studded, but not with plain tiles either. You did something unique, and I like that. :P

Quoting Gilbert Despathens It's easy to miss, but she was shown to have a salon called "Curl Up and Dye" early in the movie.
Curl up and D[i]e... XD

At Cyberfrank (if he happens to look back) - She was a hairdresser. It's easy to miss, but she was shown to have a salon called "Curl Up and Dye" early in the movie.

Amazing! Whoa, when I saw the roof I was like "What da heck? That doesn't fit in with the scale!" Nice job!

I love the bb movie, but, had no idea carrie fisher was an hairdresser, xd, she s presented as being one of the brother s ex girlfriend, but, seeks revenge on him because he changed his mind on the wedding day, for your scene; it looks good, the car is nice, my only complain would be the lack of color, it makes it a little bland, otherwise it s very cool!

It's a classic movie, and I'm eighty percent sure that the CMF sax player is modeled after one of the brothers, but you might be better off not having seen it.

Quoting Gilbert Despathens I agree with a lot of what you said here, mainly the exposed-stud dilemma (why they don't use SNOT if they don't have tiles is beyond me - most people can manage at least one of those) and also that this is plainer than your usual work... but I give encouraging, 4/5 smileys to some of those over-studded builds, so this easily deserves one. My other observation is that your character reminds me of the homicidal hairdresser in the Blues Brothers - have you ever seen that movie? She's raving mad, played by the same actress who played Princess Leia and, at one point, used a bazooka to shoot at a couple of criminals.
Um . . . no? I'm pretty sure I'd remember a raving mad homicidal hairdresser. :P

Quoting David FNJ Nice build! "LIKE MOST PEOPLE DO FOR SOME REASON THAT I DON'T KNOW OF." They don't have enough tiles XD
Lol yeah, most likely. But I mean . . . everybody does it. They can't ALL be short on tiles. Maybe it's just something written in stone. :P

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga I don't recognize the pieces on the roof. They look too big to be studs. Either way, the building looks pretty nice, if a little plain, and ditto for the car.
Yeah, thanks. And the pieces on the roof are like jumper plates. But 2x2.
