Who is the real Dame Darkla of The Monastic Disorder of Delightful Dance?
About this creation
How did The Monastic Disorder of Delightful Dance, M3D, originate?
Why has the M3D chosen to sell ‘special’ mushroom pellets?
What ties does the M3D have to ‘special’ mushrooms?

The answers to these questions can be learned by staying tuned in at The Insurgency for all the latest updates!

Before The Shift, Dame Darkla was actually a legitimate GI research scientist whose area of specialty was the growth cycle of the edible Shiitake mushroom used in Oriental cooking! She was well-known for her work in finding the ideal substrate on which to grow these fungi which had traditionally only been grown on decaying oak logs! Dr. Darkla, PhD., found that the decaying fruit of the native North American pawpaw plant was the ideal growth substrate. But when she was passed over for a top position at the GI’s Institute for Innovative Agricultural Production, she was unable to control her anger and she crossed over to the ‘dark side’… joining the Marauders. After Darkla’s Marauder Initiation, her sector went immediately, and quite literally… underground! And we all know where mushrooms grow best… in mines or caves… underground! It just so happens that other types of mushrooms… those ‘special’ kind… grow as well as Shiitakes on decaying pawpaw fruit… underground! It didn’t take long for Darkla to put her talents to work by recreating her old research lab in an abandoned limestone mine.

She formed the M3D branch of the Marauders for the sole purpose of growing ‘special’ mushrooms as a cash crop. So with the prospect of a steady incoming cash flow, Darkla was able to begin her real work, her ‘Big Secret Project’, which all Marauders hope will initially bring about chaos in the civilian population of the Galactic Imperium.

Message read. I'll get back with you in the group thread soon. First thought... she could wear her lab coat! :)

Quoting Nick Barrett She should chill out... have some mushrooms, perhaps! Fascinating stuff, the super secret project is highly tantalizing.
Ha, ha... she gets enough ideas on her own! I'm not sure what kind of ideas she might entertain after a 'shroom fest! ;)

Quoting George Marshall Looks great! I'm sad she had to cross over though, she was a valuable asset to the GI. ANyways, if you are looking for some underground spots, head on over to Rerador! I hear most of the entire civilization is underground! Anyways, I'm loving these stories, so keep em up! :D
Well, you can blame some of it on Leonidas Christianson! ;)

Quoting clayton Marchetti She just hasn't found the right fun-guy :-) I think this is one of the best evil villainous back stories I've ever heard. I really like the lab with the mushrooms growing in the beds.

Quoting matt rowntRee Mmmmm, yummy yummy shwooms. Musta been a high paying job for her to get all evil-fied for being passed up. Vengeance is a dish best served cold; however, cold mushrooms really only belong in a salad. ;) Awesome little Darkla cave with everything a vengeful doc could need. Except maybe a voodoo doll. =]
Hey, Matt! Many thanks for the great comment! I enjoy your comments as much as your builds. I saw that you have been working on your story line for your 2nd build on MOCpages. I loved that build! This story line has been flowing nicely for me, but my lighting situation is not good... been dark, cloudy, and rainy! I'm trying to convience myself, that the less-than-clear photos add a touch of mystery... ha, ha! :)
