B-3 Fortitude class bomber
Don't drop that nuclear bomb, ayyyy! Don't drop that nuke!
About this creation
Anyways, enough intro.

So, by the year 2020, the United States has managed to elect out all the people in Congress that have managed to do nothing but clog up the American people's otherwise brilliant government. (IE, GOP lost everything, and a new political party, known as the "Do rights" have taken control). In addition, this new political party has sent in a tough new president; a veteran of Desert Storm. This new president has recognized that yes, the United States is being challenged by a country across the ocean, China. It's high time for the US to answer this call. And there is only one defense contractor that can do that. Boeing. OH, and Prasad Heavy Industries.....

Anyways, the US Air Force needed a new, high-speed bomber aircraft to supplement the US bomber fleet. With none of the current aircraft capable of Mach 5 speed at extreme high altitude (height is classified, but if you can figure out the arm reach of PHI's CEO, yeah).

PHI has delivered a new bomber aircraft to respond to this call of action. This is, the B-3 Fortitude

B-3 Fortitude
See this plane lined up on a cutting board! The cutting board is just a back ground though. Don't worry, calm down. No parts were modded or cut or strewn or, I dunno what else you can do with a part....

IMG_0804
The B-3 is extremely advanced. Like really advanced. Catastrophically Highly, amazingly, advanced. The plane has some, really important radars and such. I can't go into more detail, I'm afraid....

IMG_0802
The Fortitude carries four main crew members (with reliefs). In decreasing order of incompetence (Snowden hacked us), we have the Captain, then First officer. We have the bomb aimer/dropper (imagine the jokes...), and finally a flight engineer. You never know when something might go wrong.....

IMG_0801 copy
In case you didn't notice, there is a massive "35" written across the plane. Yeah, well, that is a specific and unique identifier for that plane. So back off!

B-3 Fortitude extra
In addition to high speed, the B-3 also has several stealthy characteristics. Like, look at them tails! Angled more sharply than anything you'll see on a Geometry Test. Tangents FTW!

Functions

B-3 Fortitude extra
This aircraft features retractable landing gear, and has fully functional doors (cause we can). I have to say, the mechanism really grind my gears. Applause for that pun is welcome.

B-3 Fortitude extra
The front also folds in. Like, uh, hmm. I'm strangely out of ideas on puns and such. This must be wheely embarrassing for me....

B-3 Fortitude extra
Finally, we have moving canards. These are essential to flight. The high speeds this bomber reaches like 4 MPH, the CEO's running speed mach 5, a fast clip, if I do say so myself.....

B-3 Fortitude extra
Finally, we have an opening bomb bay. It's massive; spanning the majority of the length of the plane. This aircraft carries over 200,000 pounds of bombs, missiles, grapes, bananas (very vicious, especially when they rot), eggs (imagine egging someone's house with that. Not you Justin Bieber, gah.....), and, most importantly, LEAFLETS!

On Dive Trajectory
The B-3 Fortitude. The best bomber on planet earth.... (it's a scientifical fact).

4th Dimension rambling

Wow, I haven't posted here in a while. Okay. Here's the deal. I just haven't and the time. Oh, and laziness. It takes a while to post here on MOCpages; I embed almost all of these photos from Flickr (some of which I added just for this post). I dealt with the simple uploader just to get the rather blurry main image up; apologies about that, I'm going to try to get a better one up soon. Generally speaking, MP seems to not be working well for me. This leads to less posts from me. Anyways, in the next few days, I'll be posting the Prasad Heavy Industries 2013 Financial Report! and I'll be explaining more about this in that post.

This project was really a nice break from ships and such. I managed to include retractable landing gear, which was especially fun. Oh, and it's a great warm up for Decisive Action ;-)

Thanks for Watching!

I always find your creations quite sleek, which makes them look very nice. This is partially because of the fact that you use those smooth plates on top of all the studs. I like that. I wish I had enough of those to be able to do the same to my small fleet of aircraft. Anyways, the B-3 is quite a wonderful plane. It seems like the design could really work well. Nice job! 5/5

Sorry that I have seen your B3 bomber until now. It looks really heavy. The functions I find great. The chassis I think that's great. I would not be the target of the bomber ... No no no

Quoting Alex Sonny Very nice! The long and sleek look suits the tiny cockpit in front, this must be one giant bomber! Lots of features too, the tilting front wings are especially great.
Thanks Alex! I'm glad that I managed to give the impression of a massive aircraft :-D
