75035 "Kashyyyk Troopers" Set Review

About this creation

Well, this is the set. Box, instructions, four figures and a tiny swamp speeder.

This is the speeder. Yes, it's as small as it looks. The old set with Bariss Offee was much better. But for a battle pack, it's not too bad. The new guns actually fire really well, although they look awful! LEGO has once again sacrificed looks for play-ability.
The slanted parts protecting the drivers tilt too.

The engine at the back twists for steering. It also uses one of those fairly new astromech droid heads which works well.

Here are the best parts of the set. The four figures. They're very nice indeed. You get two troopers and two scouts. The armour is very nicely made and the helmets are cool too. My only complaint is that they're very shiny. I don't know why but they just seem very plastic-y. Also, the green visor on the scout's helmets stands out quite a lot.

Sorry for the hair. Haha. The backs are printed just as well as the fronts. All of the figures have the same one-sided face, as shown here.

This is the new gun. (Sorry for the bad quality photo.) As I said earlier, it actually fires really well. But it looks really naff. To fire it, you simply press the top grey part and the blue stud fires out (quite far too!). The upside to the new guns is you get lots of trans light blue studs!

There are 3 new (New to me, at least) parts in the set. These three. All three of which are actually really useful pieces.

Value For Money:7/10
Overall:7.4/10

Review:
Overall it looks really cool. However, it is tiny for the asking price, no matter how well designed the figures are. It's a fun set to play with, if that's what you like to do. I'd wait for the sales for this one. It's really neat but expensive for what you get.

Later this year, I will be trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to raise money for the "Meningitis Research Foundation." Please sponsor me so that I can reach my goal and get to the top of the highest free-standing mountain in the world!
