LL-928 Jumbo Rover
The little rover that could.
About this creation
While Red Spaceman gets to fly around and explorer the galaxy ... everyone forgets the poor little rover stuck in the trunk of the LL 928.

So here's my little tribute to one of LEGO's smallest Rovers.

Possibly the best Classic Space MOC I've ever seen. Definitely the most "Classic".

Brilliant. My favourite bit is all of the greebling to connect the two fuel tanks.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! And then how heavy is it that you got the rover to hold its weight? Unless you cheated with a bunch of stands you editted out.
It's actually quite heavy, the four wheels are held on by technic pins, so it can do a total flintstones and wheels fall off.

The giant minifig is a Night Light, so it's bigger than the regular flashlight or torch, but slightly smaller than the alarm clock ;)

Guys, I think the giant space man is one of the figure torch thingies. I have a Stormtrooper one, via my cousin last Christmas. Very handy!

yes awesome - where does one acquire a scaled up spaceman sans clock on his tummy?

Very cute "little" build. Where does one get a giant spaceman? And then how heavy is it that you got the rover to hold its weight? Unless you cheated with a bunch of stands you editted out.

Having been totally thrown out by this on Flickr last night, I can now say that this is absolutely brilliant.

Oh wow. This is really creative, I can't even wrap my head around how you got this idea. I also like how you recreated the wheels, very nice! But where did you get the giant spaceman?

It's epic, though did you cheat with that 4th wheel?! ;) No matter what, you score big point with me for the "little engine that could" reference. That was one of my all time favorite books when I was younger (still ranks up there are far as children's book go!).

What sorcery is this? Giant Spaceman? Awesomely humongous rover? Galaxy explorer reference? My interest is piqued in an insane amount of giddiness. LOVE IT!!!
