Originally a Federation ship, Briareus was heavily damaged and abandoned in battle of Biros II. Nearly 300 years later it was found by Swiss scouts, hauled to the space shipyard and completely rebuilt. Massive battle ship serves now the Swiss Star Fleet as a Dreadnought, providing fire power and durability needed in any space battle.

Armament consists of 8 heavy plasma cannons mounted between ribs on each side, another 4 plasma cannons in front and 4 on turrets. Anti-fighter defences consist of 4 missile launchers on underside, 2 in front and 6 gauss-turrets grouped in groups of three at stern and bow.

The Briareus II dreadnought carries 12 fighters, any Swiss type or mercenary Mentu Starfighters.

The best part about this: the ribbed body. Out of 100 possible points, this would get a 100 from me.

I am not a fan of micro-scale, but this is awesome. I would love to see this in a minifig scale ship (it would be HUGE). I am currently working a massive SHIP that I have been having trouble with front design, this ship has given me the idea that I am going with. I will give you credit when I post it (it will be a while though). Excellent job! If you keep building them this good I will have to change my opinion of Micro-scale.

The black and white guns on the sides near the rear are my favorite detail out of many on this ship... No wonder the Swiss can afford to remain neutral, who's gonna mess with them if they have this in their arsenal?
