SHADO Mobile 1
This is now the finished version of the SHADO Mobile, featured in the Gerry Anderson TV Show U.F.O.
The model has working tracks and the rear access doors open to reveal the detailed interior.
This is the SHADO communications vehicle. It features a rotatable and adjustable radar turret.
Ron, I love your stuff, particularly the Gerry Anderson stuff. I saw them in FAB mag as well as here. I've done a few models myself, like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28901644@N05/sets/72157622662647403/
Where are you based? I'm in the UK and member of the Brickish Association. We're planning a big Anderson themed display next October and I'd love to include some of your models. Please let me know if you'd be interested.
How's the Eagle coming on by the way?

Love your work, Ron. Not only are your vehicles brilliant but they have managed to capture that vintage nostalgia that the original Gerry Anderson shows portrayed. I''m a huge Anderson fan myself, and the later shows – SPACE 1999 & U.F.O – are the ones I remember best. Thanks for bringing back a flood of wonderful memories, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more great MOCs from you soon. Cheers!
What can I say other than "WOW!!" These are amazing, I have been a UFO/Capt. Scarlet/Thunderbirds fan from way back. I had the Dinky/Corgi vehicles. I know this is asking a big favor, is it possible for you to do instructions of the SHADOs? Maybe a photo step by step? I would love to build one of these for myself.
Once again very cool. The way the tracks and body fit together is neat, as is the overall look of the vehicle. I had a die cast model of something similar to these when I was younger, the top flipped over to reveal a cannon.
