oops... spelled MOCathlon incorrectly! Had to go back and repair... lost the smiley... so here it is! :)

Let's here it for slopes... in any color! I'm sure we will all be treated to their use in your MOCathlon entries. Will you corrupt your team members... ha, ha! I know of one who has her own style in black and white! :)

Your way to build has been more art than just models.

I instantly thought of Claes Oldenburg when I first saw this, but I couldn't remember his name this morning. Visions of a gigantic hot water bottle steaming through my head. Ha! Get it? nevermind. I likes it a lots. It will strike fear in the hearts of all who oppose the Plastic Surgeons! XD

Quoting David Alexander Smith I bet you never read the instructions too.
But there are no words in LEGO instructions except for numbers. How am I supposed to read stuff that isn't there?

Clever!

My bad. Just meant "slopes". Forgot that cheese slopes are the 1x1 tiny ones :P

Quoting David Roberts I like how you've restricted yourself to pretty much just slopes for this build.
6 1x1 bricks and a Hangul of plates and tiles, the rest is pure slope.

Quoting El Barto ! Just don't run with them!!!

Quoting Gerald F. This is neat. Nice work on the proportions and shaping of the scissors with the cheese slopes. Keep On Brickin'!
The irony is no cheeses were used in this build. In fact it is so old school it could have been built in the late 70s.

Quoting Tim C Really cool, David. I feel like I should see a large version of this in the middle of a park somewhere. It has an "art for art's sake" feel to it. I like how you had the attention to the easily forgotten rivet in the middle, and the dotted line really pulls the whole thing together. Nice work.
Scaled up I know what you mean, could almost be a Claes Oldenburg.

Quoting sam the first Very nice. But...*puts his 'Pedantic Glasses' on* they use knives. ;D But still a great MOC, another work of art, best of luck for the rest of the games!!
Only the professionals use scalpels, our off the radar back street operation... well the less said the better.

Yeah, one category is "Build a large pair of black scissors cutting a dotted line on paper" so I can't wait to see what you come up with... Wait... Well this is awkward... ;) ~Chris.
