Yuri's 5th MOCiversary Contest R2: 2
After a week and a half of experimentation and planning...
About this creation
Team: Even
Category: D Nanoscale Ship
A long range scout ship, 2 is a battle hardened and experienced frigate. It features its own hanger for shuttle docking, an extensive hydroponics lab, and sophisticated long range sensors and antennae. The shuttle bay and hydroponics also rotate, providing a stable, near-Earth artificial gravity. The MOC itself features a lit interior.

The shuttle bay...

My arm, as proof it fits within the suggested size.

Gah, if you don't win you'll pound us all out with that massive arm of yours! ;) Very cool build, the double outrigger pods are quite nifty.

It was intended, I don't want to male it too easy to guess one's score, so I just point out what I think about the MOC.

Quoting Yuri Fassio Great, realistic concept, but the build itself is a bit to rickety for my taste. Other judges might prefer greeblier MOCs, anyway. Well done :)
Ok...not sure how to interpret that. Pity you don't like greebled mocs..

Quoting matt rowntRee That's really cool! I love how the forward section looks like the Sulaco. Great use of the octagonal bricks from the Aquanauts sets. Love those pieces. Good luck! Fantastic!
Thanks!

Quoting Stuart Lucas Nice work Beetle! This is a very imaginative and industrial-looking ship - it looks like a spaceship that could really take long journeys through deep space. I love the hydroponics and the shuttle bay, and the built in lighting, smart stuff! Also a good contrast with Ron's more sci-fi orientated entry. Go team Even!
Thanks! Go team Even!

Quoting Stephan N wow, so many details. and the shape is brilliant. It acts not even as big as it actually is
Thanks! You are right there is a surprising amount of interior to 2, I tried to pack as much into the little ship as possible.
