Hi fellow builders! Me again with an update of my biggest build ever! While waiting on parts (again!) I thought this was the perfect time to upload part 2 of this big star destroyer I always wanted to build. I love the fact that now it finally has the shape we all know and love, since in progress report 1 it was just a big beam with a building on top! Well, let's dive right in! Enjoy and please let me know what you think!
About this creation
Well let's start where we left of last time. At that point I had to build one side of a hull to determine the angles of the wedgeshape, build it with technicbricks and extend the supportarms that will hold all of this. So there... a hull, not completely finished but good enough to build the shape.

A few weeks later this was the result of that, finally you see what this this thing is becoming =) It actually still took me 3 attemps to get the shape right the way wanted. In the first 2 attemps the shape was too small.

In the weeks that followed I continued working on the shape, also starting at the back and trying to determine were all the thrusters will go.

After all that was sort of done, I could finally do a final test with the hull on top and boy, does it look good! I also trial fitted the side hangarbaydoors at he same time.

A close up of the doors. I used te design of Varszegi as I like it a lot.

And this is kind of where I'm at today. I just need to finish up the back, and make sure that all the trusters hang perfectly level!! With the first ones trial fitted, all is well, but the biggest ones have still to be build and fitted. For now all of this isn't a problem, but we'll see in a few weeks if it truly can hold all of this, but I'm confident that it will.

Finally some shots of the botom hangar bay. I've made this already a while ago but didn't show pictures of it yet, so here you go. It's actually build from leftovers of the main building. I'm also builing two big legs that will hold the ship and rise it up a little more, so I can work on the underside as well. Soon I will try to start building te bottom hulls and fit them together with this hangar, so the bottom is already completly finished when all this is done.

Well this is it for now. I hope you enjoyed it even more than the first report. In the meantime, take care of yourself and eachother! Till next time! P

Well for now, it was actually quite easy, but I'm a bit stuck right now due to some personal problems and the buold itself... The triangular shape has the right angle but it needs to sit a bit lower on the frame, so I have to take some bits apart again and start over. Still I'm pretty confident that one day I get to finish this thing ;) Thx for the support and comment, I really appreciate it!
Quoting J H Criminal this doesn't have more likes. It's an awesome built. Congratulations on your progress so far. Looking forward to the finished product.

Hi Paul! Yes I've read on your page, you were busy making these instructions ;) I'm really curious to see what you have done with it. Iomedes is also making instructions, but now idea where he's at. For me personally I love the fact that I did this whole thing without any instructions, just pictures. I hope that it get's finished by the end of the year!<<< Quoting Paul Yperman Hi Pieter, I ran into your model just by chance...This is the one by Sylvain Ballivet and you've been watching the images very carefully...I was surprised seeing this because believe it or not I've made the ship in several modules (building instructions). I did not post them on my moc page untill the whole thing is finished (mine will have this metal structure in it) I've made some rendered pictures with ldd converter . Looks real without building it... einsteinbricks@gmail.com Good luck

hello there, to start right away; this is amazing, I really like it that you actually show your progress and the inside structure of this master piece. I too find this one of the most beautifull crafted lego MoC's out there. I wish you luck with the remainder of the build
