Forth the Three Hunters!
About this creation
Not a MocAthalon build! :O

I really need every available piece for my MA entries, and I've had those boulders and tree laying around for awhile. So I threw together this quick vig to showcase 'em, along with some of TLG's coolest minifigures ever (though the capes should totally come with the sets).

I tried to be as realistic as possible with these boulders. Please tell me what you think!

Thanks for looking!

Soli Deo Gloria,
A M

Very nice tree. Usualy when I give Aragorn a cape I give him a black one but I think brown looks better so I will try it some time. Anyway nice build.

That tree is definitely my favorite part about this MOC - well done!

Quoting Kai Bernstein Well, like "The Forest of Alameth" and "The Bucket and the Dark" - each have likes in the thirties, but then so does this and "Remember Me", which are considerably smaller. Proportionately, the small ones seem to get a lot of likes.
Ah, I understand now. You're quite right! In the case of "Remember Me", I was in the midst of judging a contest and every time I needed a reminder, another admin would comment on that creation (as it was my latest at the time). That added up to a lot of extra likes (cause I needed a lot of reminders :P). Thanks for clarifying! It is interesting.

Quoting Kai Bernstein Isn't it funny how the small builds get the most likes (proportionately)?
Not entirely sure what ya mean--certainly this build has a lot of likes for its size, but my bigger builds have more.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys! Seems the tree was a success and the boulders were overall, good as well.

Neat work! The tree is great, especially with the roots "combing" up the boulders! If anything is wrong, I'd have to say the ground layering a blocky. Nice to see you building though.

Really like the tree work and the texture of the ground. Excellent scene put into LEGO!

Actually I think that green usually can look fine in small MOCs - it's just the lighting here I think, it makes it look blue-ish. Nice tree and rocks though.

Wow, nice! I love that scene! The olive leaves flow very nicely with it! :)

Quoting Cheryl P A very nice throw together. Usually when a builder says "I threw it together", their efforts show that. But yours is great. Well done.
Much appreciated!

Quoting Professor B. Let me change that. Unless it's in a massive creation, it can look fake. Yes, that's better. :P
Haha, this certainly is not massive.

Quoting Myself That kind of green looks a little fake (in my mind). Still an awesome MOC!

Quoting David .
Yeah, I took a bit of creative liberty with the ground color. I have a very limited amount of dark and olive green plates. Thanks guys!

Loving that tree! I do agree with David, a different color green would work better. That kind of green looks a little fake (in my mind). Still an awesome MOC!

Nice work! The build is already rather small, but I'd've suggested either making it smaller - consolidating it more - or adding more foliage. That said, I love those boulders! The curves look great! I also quite like the tree and the way you "bent" it.

Lovin' the tree roots! But I must say... The ground should be either dark green or olive green.... The regular green just doesn't look like that scene. Great build though. :D
