Build a bust! No, not someone getting arrested, I’m talking about a statue from the shoulder up! It can be a real person or a fictional character but it must be “life sized.”

There is a price to pay for high treason.

Guy Fawkes was made famous by his failed attempt to assassinate King James I. He was caught guarding a cache of gunpowder underneath the British Parliament's House of Lords and was interrogated until he gave up the rest of his conspirators and then was sentenced to death.

Today he is remembered on November 5th in Britain and mask named after him has appeared in the Movie/Graphic Novel named V for Vendetta.

Today, the internet group Anonymous also uses Guy Fawkes masks on their emblems.

The back of the bust and head.

Front face.

Side face. The 1x1 rounds on the side allow enough from for a piece of silk to inserted so the mask can actually be worn! (see last photo)

Closeup on the face.

Closeup on the eyes.

Close up on the mouth.

How the mask connects to the bust.

Un-masked! What lies beneath the mask? Is it troll or a ghoul? Oozing their anarchist ways amungst the people? Or is it a sole believer, cloaked in shadow, bringing others to his cause?

For the bust that is underneath the mask I decided to portray a face with some goblin or troll features, since a lot of people view anarchists/internet activists as being trouble makers. But it is also dark, because their true motive is often not brought to light. Do they fight for good, or are they just trying to incite mayhem?

A single idea can drip into the minds of society.

The base with a reference to the popular movie V for Vendetta.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
[giggles]
Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Excellent work here! I am fine with the photoshop, you didn't erase any part of the creation (I think ;) ), or changed the background completely. It helps to explain the creation, so I think it is fine, and appreciated. Fantastic bust, the artistic side is great, and the shaping is fantastic! Score = 5
