Presenting the all new Animated Robotic
Mind-connected Appliance, or short, A.R.M.
Appliance! You now no longer need to stress out
multitasking: The A.R.M. Appliance is a robot that
connects directly with your brain, acting as a third
arm! Ever need something done, but don't have the
time? The A.R.M. Appliance will do whatever your
Brainwaves tell it to do, even if you are completely
focused on something else!* Now get the all new
A.R.M. Appliance, and never have trouble
*This will not be possible with distances between the A.R.M. Appliance and the user of over 30 meters.
Now for some more pictures...
The base of the arm. The half-concealed gears look pretty cool, in my opinion...
The middle of the arm. I love the screen. The arm would have looked way too blank without.
I am not too fond of this section: Too empty. But There is really no way I can fix that...
The Hand. My dad remarked it looks like the hand of a sloth.
But why the huge black base... Well, for one, it just looks really cool, and makes what is on top look way more impressive. But there is also another reason...
That's right! It works! It can bend at the elbow, bend at the wrist and turn at the wrist!
What is under the black box, and the reason for the red pins... Three motors and an EV3 block!
The back of the arm. Boring, I know, but it does its job. If this were a product, it would have a boring back, so why not give it one as a creation?
The back of the hand.
The hand can be removed...
And that allows for other things to be attached. This is a functional attachment (I don't know what it is for though). The hand can't actually do anything, other than wave, so I like to say that it is an emotional attachment.
Well, this was probably my hardest moc so far. I designed every part of it at least twice, and the function of the arm took me four tries. I loved the challenge. It was also a hassle to get the video up, since I had never put a video on youtube before, and I hadn't ever embedded one into a page either. The end design of the moc is pretty basic, but most of it was the function, so I think that's excusable. Anyways, I hope you liked it!
Darth Vader's Arm was black... But it would be an interesting variation on the product. Pay 50 dollars extra for customization of your A.R.M. Appliance to represent the arm of any person, fictional or real. :P

Oh, but I do think the screen could be a little bigger and have buttons around it or something. :P (And that other attachment - a radar dish, maybe? It waves. :P)
I see what you mean. I considered it, I even tried it (for lack of light bley 1x1 tiles), but it didn't add that much on. I only tried buttons at the corners of the screen though, so maybe adding buttons at the top or bottom would have looked better. Thanks for the advice! :D

Thats's awesome. Sure, the shaping and proportions could be a bit better, but I don't think that was possible with all those internal workings. Great work on designing those, too!
