Nearly every time I have to sort, I'll work for fifteen minutes before getting drawn into building another creation, usually doubling the sorting I'll have to do later. Such was the case yesterday. So enjoy the fruits of my procrastination with this moody little vignette, built around two olive drone thingies, and featuring a healthy dosage of 1x1 round tiles and of course, a bit of olive cheese. Thanks to Ian Spacek for gifting me both.
Funny, as soon as I saw this, I thought "Symphony of Construction Part 2!" This build sort of reminds me of the one you started that project with--especially with those two telephone poles. Great work!
I love the colors in this! The dark green compliments the olive very nicely and gives it a gloomy and mysterious tone, whereas normal green would have made it too happy. Those drone are so cool, nice use of parts all throughout this. I'm jealous of all your dark green and olive collection!
At first I thought that was an undersea scene & the drones were the hulls of sunken ships that lay on the bottom of the ocean. The rear antenna looked like the bowsprit. Then I looked at the rest of the scene. It's very neat. I like the drones very much & particularly how you achieved the curved backs with the headlight bricks, the legs and the wheels. It's always cool to see a creative way to utilize parts. GREAT JOB!
