2014 MocAthalon: The Mountains!
About this creation
2014 MocAthalon
Team The Broken Bricks
Category: Pair Dare:

Select two specific kinds of pieces (for example: the 1x2 brick and the jumper-plate) and then create a MOC using ONLY those two specific parts. Feel free to use multiple colors of those bricks but they must be ONLY those two bricks. Choose wisely!

The two pieces I used are the cheese slope and the 1x2 plate. I built a generic broad vista of snowy mountains and grassy hills. This model was pretty heavily influenced by Siercon and Coral's epic Once Upon a Time mosaic (on Flickr), so they deserve some credit.

Thanks for viewing!

Score = 3. I would really like to see a sideways picture, so we have real proof that it is all 1x2's and cheese slopes. Also, I would love to see you come up with something from your own imagination, not something someone else has made. But great work! Score = 3

Quoting Cheryl P Beautiful. On a much larger scale, this design would make a wonderful graphic above a sofa. A real work of art.
Thanks! That's exactly the feel I wanted to get with this!

Quoting T. J. Pownell Nice! but if you used 1x2 plates, how did you do the edges? I understand the top and bottom, but the edges look like they are 1x1. IDK...
The sides are1x2's as well, turned sideways.
