Krika (BBRC R2)
My entry to round 2 of the Biannual Bio-Revamp Cup. My category is gender swap. I built Krika, she has a Nynrah Ghost Blaster like the original set. I hope you like it!

Quoting Toa Nexal I like it. It's a great revamp, and, seeing as Krika was in an insect-like form, the female version of him should obviously be more menacing and deadly looking. Therefore, I think you got the gender swap aspect of the MOC perfectly right in context of the character, as well as making a just plain awesome revamp.
Thanks!

Quoting X ~ It's really hard to think of this revamp as a female, because as others have said, Krika is pretty skinny. Aside from that though, the revamp is pretty awesome. Have my 9.
Thank you!

Quoting Andrew Mayfield As a revamp itself, I think it's fantastic. The design elements and proportions are spot on, and the designs work ot really well. As a genderbent character, there really isn't much going for it, but that's just my opinion. Anyway, excellent moc, keep up the great work!
Thanks!

Krika wasn't a particularly gendered character to begin with, but I appreciate that you didn't go overboard with the feminism for that very reason. It's a well-built revamp, regardless.

While the gender-swap aspect is perhaps a tad underdone, it is evident, and the build is very impressive. I give you an 8.5, mostly for the quality of the build.

What everyone else has said - the genderbend aspect just isn't clear enough from the original. However, it is an excellent revamp all the same: 6. :3

This could work very well as a normal Krika revamp. Nice job.

Quoting Kai (Josh) Awesome work dude! Although the torso is quite thin, the alien look of her is still there and she looks marvelous. Good luck! :)
Thanks!

Quoting A. Sargent I really like this. I think the slimmer appearance does the job. A very smooth, well done revamp. 9.5 points.
Thank you!

Quoting Gringat the Repugnant Very poor choice for a genderbend; Krika is so alien that his gender isn't obvious in the first place. I'm glad you kept that though. This revamp looks epic.
Thanks, the alien look made it easier to revamp for this category though.

Per Spencer -- the already thin apperance of the MOC, combined with the already irregular appearance of the torso, made the actual genderbend aspect difficult. The aspect of the revamp itself, however, is good. I'll give a 5.

Quoting Commander Spencer To be honest, it really doesn't look that feminine, but it probably doesn't help that I've always imagined Krika as being skinny. Anyways, as a normal revamp, you've done a fantastic job.
Thanks!
