About this creation

Let's start with 76007 Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack. Here is what you get. Set, box, two instruction booklets and a comic.

Here's the Mandarin's helicopter. Flick fire missiles on both sides and a spot for a figure to stand on. Although the Mandarin isn't actually in this scene in the film he's included in the set for some reason.

The other side of the chopper from a different angle.

Here is Jarvis (so to speak). Tony's pet robot, carrying one of the suits in a case.

Here is the mansion itself. The platform that Pepper is standing on rotates. Overall the mansion is quite nicely done. Quite compact and small, but nicely done.

Space for two suits of armour (one of which is included) and a little kitchen area.

Flick this lever and one of the glass panels springs out.

Press this lever on the outside of the mansion and both the sets of armour pop out of place.

The figures, all of whom are actually really good! Although the random solider's torso is a little weird. They all come with double-sided faces.

Review:
A good looking set with plenty of play features. Great figures too. Just a little bit small for the price tag.

Okay moving on to the Superman Black Zero Escape set. You get the set, box, instructions and a comic.

The 'door' slides open. Although it's just a panel... And I have no idea what that ladder/bridge thing is for.

Flick this rubber lever thing and it fires both missiles at once.

Inside the escape pod, the seat tips back and forth. You also have to build loads of greebly stuff on the sides... and then cover them up with big panels? Great work there LEGO.

The numerous thrusters on the rear of the pod.

The three figures. Lois is good, Superman is great and Zod is very good.

Again, they all feature double-sided heads and back printing.

Figures:9/10

Playability Factor:8/10
Value For Money:7/10
Overall:7.6/10

Review:
Redeemed by the figures. It's a good little set but just really badly done. That panel door? The random laddder? The covered-up greebles? Yeah. 19.99 is okay for it but I'd say wait for a sale just to make it worthwhile.

Right, back to Iron Man. The Extremis Seas Port Battle set. Where this occurs in the film... I have no idea. Must have blinked. Anyway, here's the set, box, instructions and comic (which yes, is the same as the one in the Malibu Mansion set.)

Press down on the boat's spoilers and the missiles fire. Works nicely actually and the levers are built well into the boat.

Take the bonnet off and there's a bundle of dynamite inside.... not idea why. There just is.

The side of the boat with. It's actually quite sleek and slides well.

The random 'exploding' buoy. Yes those labels are stickers.

The main reason anyone (including myself) would buy the set; the figures. Killian, Iron Man (same armour as in the Malibu Mansion set annoyingly), and War Machine. Killian and Iron Man are good but War Machine is excellent.

The backs. Killian in full extremis mode, scared Tony and angry Rhodey.

Build:8/10
Figures:9/10
Pieces:7/10
Playability Factor:8/10
Value For Money:7/10
Overall:7.8/10

Review:
War Machine makes it worthwhile. I'd wait for a sale to get it but it is quite fun to play with too.
