About this creation

2014 Mocathalon

Team: The MOCing Maniacs

Category:Go for the Gold: Give us your version of a winter Olympic sport.

The sports I chose was the Freestyle Skiing Aerials. I really liked the twists and turns the athletes would do during the competition. Amazing stuff!

My skier.

The approach, achieved by stressing rows of 1x2 bricks into the incline.

Thanks for viewing!

Oh wow, super nice! I actually watched acrobatic skiing on the Olympic games, and this represents it well. The figure is just really great, it looks very retro because of the circular goggles - like it came from Sarajevo winter olympics in 1984 and that's great!

Quoting Cheryl P How did you get that skier up there. Or don't you give out trade secrets.
Those trans-clear bars have some wicked clutch power to them. Nothing too special...

One of my favorite sports of the Olympics too. Great job on this. How did you get that skier up there. Nice pose though. Or don't you give out trade secrets.

Quoting Chi Warrior Well that was quick. Amazing entry! How did you build all this so quickly?
I did most of the building in my head over the past little while. Once I had the bricks in my hands, it came together rather quickly.
